they lose their 10 points earned in Imola and face a 2 race ban.... WHAT THE?!?!?!?!
FUKKING FERRARI, FUKKING MAX MOSLEY and the damn FIA. You know what's this all about, really? It's the damn Ferrari/FIA vs. The rest. They are playing this hardball game, to give everyone a hard time because they don't want to fall in line with the FIA and sign the damn new Concorde Agreement. Well as we know, Ferrari is the only team to have signed up with a paycheck of 200million(not sure of the real figure, but its about there) for the new agreement while the rest with the manufacturers are claiming for a new GPWC (grand prix world championship/ the F1 alternative beyond 2008). So they are playing all these f**king politics now and will slowly line the other teams up so that FIA and Ferrari can rule for another 10 bloody years in F1. ARRGGGHHH...
did anyone of u read BAR's argument on this case that they are now found guilty of cheating?? sigh...... this is just so bloody frustrating.

All of a sudden sauber become 4th position !~

Hmm.......too bad for honda....banned for 2 more races ~

hehehehhe
wat? ferrari? they are arsh whole..... big ones..
hehehe... BAR wants to appeal now...
oh well, lets hope for a good race at least....!!!

well apparently they've accepted their fate and started packing up already. Poor buggers.....

curious

i watch the race and read the papers saying their car is under weight, but over weight whn with full tank, i dont get it?
wat actually happen,tq!
Cheers

Under FIA rule,
each F1 car need to have minimum 600kgs weight, with no fuel on board. F1 cars that finish within point (top 8) position will send to weight scale after each race.

BAR kept 15lit petrol on board and tell FIA that their race car fuel tank is empty. With that 15 lit petrol on board, the car total weight meet the 600kgs requirement, but not when the fuel tank is empty.

For those BAR and HONDA fans out there, please claime down, it's the fact that BAR do cheat in this case.

The Tyrrell team were banned for the rest of the championship in 1984 after it was discovered they had been using a special device to pump water and lead ballast to raise weights of their cars to the legal minimum.

ok... well the cars are weighed after every race and they have to be above 600kg. The thing is that BAR was above 600kg with fuel in there, and when they were asked to remove the remaining fuel from the bar, it WAS STILL over 600kg. So far so good, but then they had a tip off from 2 ex-BAR employees, and the authority/scrutineers checked for more fuel in the car and they did find more fuel! so they asked for the remaining extra fuel to be taken out, and the car weighed less than 600kgs. BAR was not charged for 'cheating' per se, because they didn't have a case on them cheating (not enuff evidence), but they are charged for misleading and lack of transparency.

ha ha .. tok tok so much .. go and argue there la .. wakkkakakakakka wat a loser !

Ferrari .. The Always Winning Formula in F1 ;)

argghh... SO SAD.. there goes their first points for the season :(

hopefully the appeal goes thru.. boo hoo... was BAR really guilty!??!!

so what has this got to do with ferrari?
it's not like they forced BAR to run a underweight car

Now is the fact that BAR is playing some tricks over there ma...Blame ppl to find out their mistakes??? ridiculous....

Even if my favourite team Ferrari was found out to hav do something like BAR i also will look down on ferrari la n not blame other team for thier mistakes to be found out.

tricks? hmmm....

ok, if you guys are want something to think about for a while...
the "extra" fuel left, was bout 8kgs in the car. Now, every new F1 car when made with all the chassis/engine/suspension/tyres is now less than 600kg. Since 600kg is the limit, what they do is that they place lead ballast in various positions in the car so that it is up to weight again. Now, they could have easily just put these weight ballast instead of the extra fuel right to make the car legal? So, do you think they have an advantage of using fuel instead of ballast? I personally don't think so but i might be wrong.
That is why they are found NOT guilty of cheating, they are punished for being misleading and bla bla bla. So i still think BAR is clean and they are not cheaters. Look, they spend more than $350million a year, that can fund ANY charity aid fund or donation charity or feed all of AFRICA's poor!! BIG/HUGE companies are involved like Honda in this case, we have others like Toyota,BMW,Merc,Renault,Ferrari,BAT,Marlboro and the whole of F1 throw $2.5 BILLION a year into it, do you think they would want to spoil their corporate image just by cheating a little bit here and there? I really don't think so..... don't you?

lets say if you know that your competitor is not abiding the rules, are you gonna shut up?
BAR made a mistake, and they got penalised.
Ferrari cant use it's "politics" or influential power to make BAR's car underweight.
But they could influence the organisers to check on cars.

If you follow the rules, you wont be punnished, right?

Well, I am HONDA freaks. I am a little upset though. How exactly FIA weights F1 race car? Before race or after the race?
As far as I know, BAR was weighted after the raced with a dehydration driver, empty drinking water and empty fuel tank, less than 600 lbs.
So, who knows what's the story behind the this tragedy.
