power fc will have code will tell you what car it used for

just see the code and you will know it for what car

I heard N1,Kamal,GT and JC Racing can tune Power FC.But not confirm the cost for tuning on dyno.

JC Racing RM500 to RM600 for tuning and dyno fees on almost stock engine...

Thanks all bro,let say the code is for mitsubishi, then all mitsubishi car can use it?
if the code not for mitsubishi, then it is useless for my fren?
Thanks again bro

yes, most Power FC is pnp (plug and play) to the car (they make specific harness / plug) for the car ECU.

HOWEVER, I have one my guy done a Honda Power FC into a freaking SkylineR33 before. It's doable. So, suggestion is for you to find out the part # of the Powe FC (usually goes like 414-M904) then decide what you need to do. What year/spec is your car ?

Here is a list of part # for power fc and the year it is use for
Apexi-USA - Power FC

If you can't find a match here, I also have a master catalog from APEX listing all the power FC and car model. Just post here the part # and I can tell you which car and what year.

MAF - Mass Airflow Sensor

D-jetro Power FC is same as a standard Power FC but not need to use the factory standard airflow meter. It use a MAP sensor instead... I am not completely clear on the distinction between MAF and MAP sensors except that MAP sensors are for turbo applications.

Also, the Djetro PowerFC comes with additional parts but I do not know what those are.

MAP - Manifold Absolute Pressure

Thanks bro,appreciate it.

tumpang tanya, how much improvements does POWER FC helps ?

noob learning here :)

Apexi PowerFC is a "standalone" engine management system. It is designed to completely replace your existing ECU and allow you to program it - to "tune" the various aspects of the engine and others. As a standalone, it will also take control of your AC, lights, diagnostics, etc. besides taking control of ignition and fuel injection.

As for the improvements, it depends on the tuner and your goals. In some applications, we will tune our calls to the point where a piggy back or standalone EMS is required to get the most out of our settings - because the stock ECU was not designed for it. For example, trying to hit 1200HP with a massive turbo. The stock ECU is not designed to do this and so we must exceed its capabilities.

Piggy back EMS is Apexi SAFC and Apexi VAFC (for Vtech). It is capable of adjusting your fuel maps to exceed the stock ECU capability and sticks "on top" of your existing ECU - hence the term piggy back. It does not replace your stock ECU.

Do note that Japan Apexu is no longer supplying PowerFC for the older model of cars but you can find some of them from USA.

There are several types of PowerFC:
Standard
Called: LJetro or just normal PowerFC
Input Type: Airflow meter (AFM)
Extra: normal unit

Djetro
Called: Map Sensor PowerFC
Input Type: Map Sensor
Extra: normal unit with map sensor input instead of AFM

Pro
Called: FC Pro - PowerFC Pro
Input Type: AFM
Extra: Launch control (0km/h limiter) & Spark cut (instead of fuel cut) at limiter

AP Engineering
Called: AP Eng
Input Type: AFM
Extra: usually these are remapped PFC's to suit extra cars (ie R33 RB25 GTST PFC remapped to suit R32 RB20 PFC)

The PowerFC is available for the following models
