Another jerking issue...

Salam n good day for all ZTH forummers,
recently i've confront with this issue...
before this when i drive the car,the engine run smoothly..
just after i had my engine failure and changed my pistons then the issue arise...

the problem is like this:

when i cruising normally below 2k rpm.. i will feel the jerking on my car. it happened to all gears.
but when drive above 2k rpm, the jerking seems to be gone.. The engine also feels a bit rough..

I already changed the plug,plug cable,distributor and ignition coil. but the problems still seem to be there.

i just driving satria with stock standar evo3 and stock internals. no modification..

please help me enlighten this issue and sorry for this noob question...

there are a lot of problems dat lead to jerking sir, maybe u can be more specific on explaining this jerk ie is it violent? light amount but frequent? does it only happen at part throttle? or when suddenly full throttling? from what uve informed here, i suspect a mechanical problem, but cant be sure before i can get a look at it myself, pm for more details, tq sir

for me the jerking is a bit violent and it always occured when i cruising below 2k rpm..it's happened on normal throttling..

all geras sir..1-5..only when cruising below 2k rpm..when idling sound like i'm using high cam..

doesnt sound like ignition related.. what happen after 2k rpm then? smoother? slight jerk?

yup,after 2k rpm,engine smoother.just a slight jerking.

How to check the gap bro Danz? Sometimes, can it due to wrong plugs used?

need the plug gapping tool...look like flat nail file but there are a few in a set with set thickness...

wrong kind of plugs might lead to this problem too, it happens once to my fren car

it's not the problem actually...it's just the cam setting..
my mech just told me..after i express my worry to him,he straightaway adjust my cam setting to normal one..i asked him what he did..he told me it was his secret recipe..can't reveal to anyone..hehehe

as suspected den, i dont think its much of a secret, unless u can produce a flat torque curve outta a non-variocam na engine, lol. its good dat u solved the problem and back to enjoying ur drives sir. good day
