When you mention those 3 animes, one thing is common is that those animes were made pre 2000. Animes before the year 2000 have somewhat a special flare for me at least. I dunno, maybe their storyline, their art, the characters and etc. Or possibly because most of us grew up watching animes since the 80s. I remember watching my first anime movie on VHS. I really can't remember what was the title. I have to assume that it wasn't a really popular anime. Dad bought for me as a kid. Mind you, the art was the early 80s anime hehe. Starting from there, I was introduced to the world of anime.
