recently i just removed my whole engine and got it rebuilt.

after it was complete....when i drove off i noticed my lights was dim and air con blower is low on idle and when accelerate/rev the blower speed goes back to normal.

we removed the negative cable on the battery, with the air con on, double signal on, headlamps on the car died.

so we replaced the alternator, and again the same thing happened. then after that, the car battery died, car couldn't start. so we replaced the battery did the same test.

what we noticed was. when we turn on the air con and hazard lights ... and remove the negative from battery, car does not die. but when we on the headlights, engine dies immediately. Is this an alternator problem? or is this normal?

the thing is , my lights are still dim, and bright when i accelerate. it was not like this before the rebuild. before the rebuild the lights were super bright, and the aircon blower does not fluctuate on idle or rev.

please please share your thoughts, need to get this done asap. thanks.

bro....u start yr engine, then remove the battery...if the car dies..
then compem its the alternator problem....

or u go to some wshop that has
the batt meter volt reading........

battery is brand new.

alternator replaced 3 times.

and engine does not die. only dies when we remove negative cable and switch on headlamp..then it dies.

its so weird, have you try send to wiring man? could it be technician didn't wire properly while putting back engine?? just my wild guess, cos i'm also having idling problem so can feel your sadness... : (

yup, maybe the mech did not rewire yr wiring properly, same case as me.....
u better bring yr car back to yr mech & ask him to rectify it......

my mech was not in charge of the wiring....wiring was already there...just plug and play...but he did mention my wiring was messy and complicated... he too told me to go see a wiring guy ... hmmm well i guess that is the only solution. thanks
