Air Intake System

Just to share this is how my current set-up looks like.. I know for a fact there are couple of guys I know using the same thing. I think Misri is one of them. The heatshield should be ready by next week.

how much is the heatshield bro?
Not sure yet... I think about RM100+ I think.. I copied Blitz heatshield design.. Once it's ready I'll update you guys.. The best part is it's universal.. Since my air filter is 6" so anything smaller would fit just nice..

mine is 7"... oh wait... you guys was talking about air filter... wrong topic...

The air filter is Blitz got it from N1. The air ram made by JFA. I am not sure how much as I got it together with my exhaust. Best place to find out on the price go see Dino from JFA.

I have a question bros, we can actually use back the original elbow from the throttle body to connect to an open pod filter rite? (as long as there is an adapter to connect the filter to the ramp) Not necessarily have to go for a custom stainless steel ramp? Whats the pros n cons of using the original ones? Need your kind advices bros. Peace.

I'm using the original elbow...the cons flow not so smooth compares to stainless steel and less potential than custom design. The pros you save some $$

Thx for your useful feedback bro WAFS  So, if lets say custom an elbow but follows more or less the length and shape of the ori elbow, wouldn't make much difference? Any suggestion of which type of custom ramp designs gives the better flow? Also, any suggestion of where to get BLITZ filter for reasonable price (incl. adapter)? Thx for your advices bros :adore:

Here is sample if u use back the original elbow.

Cost?

Filter RM260
3.5 inch s.steel RM20
Silicone reducer RM40

2. 5zigen 304 replica aka cap ayam bought from JFA, 2.5" piping no centre box, de-cat, custom air ram with 6" Blitz air filter

No wonder your exhaust was so damn loud bro....haha....

anyways...im gonna go get my exhaust done as well at jaafar...went there to get a de-cat last saturday and i must say they did a good job measuring and getting the pipe to fit just right. 2.5 hours of waiting though...almost died...JUST FOR A DE-CAT...

but the gains are significant and you can feel it instantly...throttle is so much lighter and revs climb alot easier....

exhaust also sounds alot throatier and it growls.... but no "vroom vroom" though... stupid S-Flow exhaust...

anyways...i don't want my exhaust to be too loud and wake up the neighbors everytime i come home...so i'm gonna go with 2.5inch piping + mid box/silencer + custom back box.... after I get my AEM V2 intake from singapore, wanna meet up for a dyno? I wanna see how far off from your WHP i am with the silencer.... :burnout:
