I bought a set of AD07's from Hup Shun in Dec last year. After driving around in it...i found out that one of the tyres were defective. So Hup Shun sent it back to Yokohama for a claim in January, until now i have yet to get my tyre back. Hup Shun "claims" that there is lack of stock in the market and even in Japan. How true is that?? So if anyone here knows where i could find just 1 pc of 205/45/16, please let me know. Hup Shun acts as if they have no urgency to find me just 1 blardy tyre...and i am really pist off!

file a complaint to consumer tribunal if you want. i guarantee you, that they will expedite the process immediately after they got your letter.

experience that before on a computer shop.

your first mistake is by going to Hup Soon. If you search for the history in Zth about Hup Soon you would have found that they are nothing but crap!

STAY AWAY FROM HUP SOON!!!

hi,

u can order the tire at any tire shop if u know the boss....

since they oledi sent to warranty claim, wat u can do is to wait...

and u mentioned Yokohama said its lack of stock...mean u cannot get the tire in short period of time.

its no point u complain to consumer tribunal bout hup soon, coz ur tire at yokohama japan. if so, u hv to complain to yokohama japan.

just my 2cent n corect me if im wrong.

At the moment to speed things up...i am planning to buy just 1 tyre from another shop. I've been told that Hup Shun throw price for their tyres. Another tyre shop said that their cost of the tyre already RM400 when Hup Shun is selling for RM385. But anyways, want to try and get them to refund my money back for the defective tyre and i will go buy from another shop.

Hey bro, i think u did not understand my statement. Hup Shun sells the AD07 to end user like me at RM385. Other tyre shops are buying the AD07 from supplier/dealer at RM400. Its not a saving of RM15 for me. If i get the tyre from another shop it would cost me about RM65 more per tyre, multiply that by 4....

Well anyways, i think i will not be going back there again. Will rather pay more for the damn tyre and get better service/quality. Before this i did not know about the shit ethics of Hup Shun. I will be going over to Hup Shun to threaten them bout the tribunal thing this Saturday.

kikaider,
Did you check out the link I gave you earlier on? Do take a look. It's about consumer rights and having it worked out. Anyway, I wish and hope that you will get back your full refund. May I kindly suggest that you check out Klang instead? I got my AD07 (195/50/R15) for RM225. I think 16" should be about RM300. Klang is a bit far off but really, you save quite a lot more per tyre there. I checked out Sunway prices and AD07 195/50/R15 costs RM280 per piece there. Comparing with Klang price which is Rm225, that's about RM55 difference! That's like 2 person's back kut teh already! hahaha

I'm surprised people are having difficulty getting AD07s in KL and having instead to rely on bad-rep tyre shops.

It's actually easy to get them. Practically any good tyre shop can make a phonecall to YHI Malaysia (the agent for Yokohama, Advanti, etc etc) and order the tyres for you. If you are unsure of availability, call YHI direct and confirm. They cannot sell to end-users but they will still answer any questions you may have on specs and availability and you can also ask them regarding retailers who stock their products

My gf bought me a set for my birthday recently. Eventhough I am in Ipoh, there was no trouble getting a set down here. Should be arriving in about a week's time.

Since we are talking about AD07s, what does everyone think about these tyres ? Admittedly, my woman was trying to be sweet by this surprise gift, but if I recall correctly, AD07s are performance tyres .....very grippy in the dry but tread life is not as lasting as the usual street tyres. Is that correct ? Also, how do you find their performance in the wet ?

I'm from Philippines and I own a Mitsubishi Lancer EL 1996 model. We call it here Lancer Itlog ( itlog was a Tagalog word means EGG ) because of its egg shape tail light. It had a 4G13 cyclone engine, Aisan Variable Venturi Carburator and manual transmission.

I'm confuse which of your Malaysian Car to compare for my reference in your "zerotohunred.com website.

Hope somebody can help me. Thanks.
