hi i'm new here....
i would like to ask, if i want to put in a sr20 engine into my ad resort, how much will it cost. do i have to convert my car into rear wheel drive? does it involves major modification and how long will it take?

depends on the mech, and how good his workmanship is. Mine said 2 weeks for transplant, but ended up 8.5 weeks. Mine was for sr 20 into a sentra.
Your car can still be fwd, and i've heard no need to mod engine mounting.
It depends from which car you get ur SR from. labour charge should be less than 2k.. halfcut price varies from where you buy, and the state of the engine.. First thing is find a gooooood mech who keeps his word.... Thats the hardest part, the rest just depends on how much money your willing to spend :) Happy transplanting

hi hi , my name is tannie. is true wat coolval said. is all depends to ur mech. sr20det and sr20 have alot of different price depends to the engine condition. but talking about time , usually the mech will always said about 2-3weeks time. but as for my experience usually the process will take u at least more or less about 4 weeks + - . but some places can really do a fast job......
