Emanage installed cause 'Check Engine' light on off??

hi all,
i had installed an emanage...whenever i start the engine or cruising,the 'Check Engine' light will on off few times(for few seconds)...according to my mech it is normal cos it 'cheating' the ecu...is it...

any altenative to PIVOT starter button ?

anyone ?
it makes me more gatal after test drive 3 series .
