280zx Concept Car.

merry christmas and happy new year guys. sorry for the late updates coz been busy searching for the right rims for my lady. well, without further delay, i present you 4 sets of beautiful rims. it's not really what i want but it turns out fine for her. initially i am looking for 15x9JJ front and 15x10JJ rear. it's so hard to find and i lower down my specs to what i bought. all 4's are running 15x8JJ offset 0. tyres will be 205/60. initially to get 205/55 (5mm wider) but it needs to be ordered. 1 week at least. so forget about it. I put in 1" spacer on my rear so it will make it look like buldging out abit. so far no problems with handling and it feels better than my previous 17".
i got the rims from mudah. it's OG Banzai. great transaction with the seller coz he got it down from KL to Penang for me. balik kampung. here is the link: http://www.mudah.my/15x8jj+OG+Wheels+Offset+0-8001239.htm
sorry for the grainy pictures coz i took it right after i got it fix. i will get another nicer shot tomorrow. ;)

My... thats a lot of wheel gap you have. Nice rims though :proud:

here are some updates for my car: last week sent to the sifu for weatherstrip treatment. he told me that if he not able to find the right weatherstrip for me, he will use the new BMW technology to cover up on the rubber. I do not know what he said but it better be good coz he told me tomorrow can take the car dee.. YIPPEEEE!!! definately will post some shots for you all.
i know the wheel gap is big but it's the best i can find so far for offset and big inch rims. trying to get real good 15" 10jj offset -20 rims from Japan but damn the price. RM8K for a set. crazy. maybe i will get some cool rims dude to make me that rim. call up couple of guys in KL and they able to do it but of coz have to forget about the looks coz it'll look like the black spare rims you have in protons. trust me on the price, 4 times cheaper. anyways... more pics on my car with the current 15" 8jj offset 0 rims.

i believe thats the new sealant, even volvo uses it as a gasket replacement, eheheh

anyways, i believe u should do some nice "wordings" on a nice cursive font on the left and right red sticker by the doors, make its nicer, like tom's green mini, where he writes cooper instead of porsche, lol

ooooohhhh.... tha's what it is. sealant eh. thanks Kevin. will know later when i go collect my car. by the way the srtipes are not sticker. it's all paint. even the door. not too sure whether want to put any wordings or not but i am trying to find a nice metal logo "ZX" and put it at end of the fender, near the door. :D

thanks arturo for loving it. wait till i get enough cash to buy the 10j rims..... you will love it. it's the exact rim that tony5050 got it but his running on 12j i believe. total cost about rm12K. wooooooooooow!!!
i have tried some 16", 17" and even 18" (spacer 4 hole convert to 5 holes). the best still on 15" offset rims. it suites perfectly and it matches the retro style for old Z and ZX.

basicaly because of the fender size, wide 15 inches are desirable, try looking for bosozoku style, it looks awesome on the car, hehe

Why not just get coilovers and lower the whole car? I think it looks pretty okay that way, but if you had it lower it would be nice  ... just my 2 cents haha .

LWW: lowering the car using the road in Penang is not advisable especially parking. hahahaha. i know it'll be nice but too bad, roads here are impossible. Look at my front bumper, 2 days out from the shop kena already. i was thinking about doing something on the fenders but that will be later la. now is more on the interior decor. Thanks for the suggestion bro. :)

HAHA that bad ar penang? I would have lowered the car first bodykitted it later if I were you though :hmmmm:... no probs dude.

What do you plan to do with the interior?

LWW: i am planning to get the front and back bumper redo. front will have the shark face aka 240z and back i will slim it down. currently the body kit is big for the car.
as for internal, i will be sending it for repackaging tomorrow. black leather with orange thread. sexy!!! problem with dashboard. it's cracked and when i send it to Tom's for a sticker work (matte black or carbon) they not able to do it coz it's rough surface and the sticker cannot stick properly. let's hope the leather guys has the expertise to open up the dashboard and package it. 7 days maximum for the repackaging.

dfws77, i sent my dashboard to the dash trimming guys in subang to repair them, i hope that be a good help if u cant find any around u, hahah
