We never officially got it on our shores though there are some gray imports running around. Having only be able to lust over it through pictures and movies of the ‘Fast and Furious’ kind, Mitsubishi is once again making our lives miserable by releasing the all new 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse, and just to rub salt into the already painful wound, they are also releasing it in Spyder form but they have always done that, we just never got it.

The styling cues of the 2009 model include a new front end housing a black trapezoidal grille that looks like one from the Lancer Evolution, as well as a blacked out rear apron which houses a new dual exhaust system that provides the car’s V6 with 2 extra horses and 2 ft-lbs of torque, that adds up to a grand total of 265 horses and 262 ft-lbs of torque.
As super as it looks, its not without its flaws, which include it being a heavy front-wheel-drive coupe that share a lineage with a certain, bound to be missed, all-wheel-drive, turbo, four cylinder rocket.
