Jaguar F-Type with Drop-Top Leaked Ahead of Paris Reveal!

With the F-Type having just been revealed a few days ago, new images have just surfaced of a drop-top variant, along with a close-up on what the F-Type’s styling has to offer with a centre-mounted exhaust or a quad tail-pipes and flush door-handles that’s definitely been adopted from Aston Martin. But more importantly, now we know what the interior looks like.

The upcoming Jaguar F-Type has been touted by the English carmaker as one that’s a “thoroughbred enthusiast sports car” and just days before the 2012 Paris Motor Show gets underway, more images have been leaked of this little Jag’s interior as well as two video clips featuring the F-Type coupe flying around both the Nardo test track and the Nurburgring still in it’s camo – not just for promotional purposes but for performance tweaking as well.

Although there’s no official word about the F-Type’s specifications just yet, it does sound as though it’s been taken from the pool of ‘V’ engines as it flies around both circuits testing out its top speed, cooling efficiency, DSC and what not. But after having seen the images of the rear, there could be different engines lined-up for the offer – perhaps a V6 variant with a twin centre-mounted exhaust and a V8 equipped with quad tail-pipes?

Also, it seems that the round dial selector has not been utilised, as it’s been on Jaguar’s current line-up of vehicles, having been replaced by a gear knob and pedals behind the steering wheel, meaning that this little Jag roadster is equipped with 2 pedals instead of three.
