Need info on strenghten bars in EG 2 doors.

Hi all sifus,

I would like to upgrade my EG 2 doors stability. Below are the bars I had think of. Please do let me know if I have left out any bars. My car is road legal which mean roll cage is not in the list...

1. Front & rear bar
2. Monkey bar
3. Fender bar
4. Room bar
5. Front & rear anti-roll bar. (is there any after market anti-roll bar like Cusco?) Or just use DC2 anti-toll bar is more than enough?

Hope you guys can help me out if I have left out any bars. Looking forward replys from all sifus here...Thanks.

i mean if want affordable upgrade from stock anti-roll bar andadd a few item above sure ppl at UR got it if not mistaken...


unless u want to spent more on "brand"

not really on brands la... but sometime those r fancy stuff that can easily been spotted, so must use nice 1. can dress up ur car & engine bay & oso can strengthen the car then resell value very high..almost not losing any money if using for 2yrs... 1 shot 3 birds ma...:proud:
for example, 3yrs back, buy 1 spoon bar cost u rm200, now day can easily sell rm300 or above... just if 2 yrs back buy UR, now can sell how much..?? hehehe:hmmmm:

but for anti-roll bar Eibach,H&R is a good try i think......

Sorry to butt in out of topic....

Jusz wonderin if roll cages are street legal? Is there a law banning them for street use? or izzit just JPJ just "ikut sukati nak saman" ? anybody knows?:hmmmm:

as far as i know i was NOT-street legal...

but then i "heard" that u can go through a roadblocks if the "cage" was properly covered with sponge/absorbant material..(and as well as to hide them)


*and me also freely drive a caged satria back at my hometown....but then, i got a strong reason....it was a proper rallycar.....and policeman over there are much nicer with us (me n my dad) because one of them also do participate in rally back then...

i oso wanna know, if we can apply the roll cage then get approved from JPJ... can work out..?? cos Pors GT3 oso come with Roll Cage ma... but still road legal...

maybe yes.....and maybe no.....

-u need proper documentation of that rollcage before u can apply for inspection.... (along with engineer approval if not mistaken)

-pass or not then a different matter....


but if u really want your caged-car to be road legal badly...then why not give it a try....

so better ask opinion from your JPJ best-friend (runner) before any step further....


and for normal roadgoing car.....stay away from rollcage just to be safe from abang polis and uncle JPJ....(other than that sure can)
