Congratulations all listed drivers!, The Hall of Fame has finally been released. The scoreboard represents Time to Attack: Sepang Round 1. Feast your eyes on what could be the only Time Attack scoreboard for the Sepang Circuit.

Do take note that this Hall Of Fame is not perfect. It will be set in a proper artwork once we finalize the statistics. Until then, the Hall of Fame continues to be revised. There are details at the bottom to how you can communicate with us if you have something to inform us regarding the HOF.

Proven that powerful cars mean nothing if the driver sucks. Btw is the driver in the slowest scuderia a noob or what ?

Bro, you might have a point there but your comment is still mean lar.

Tom,

I think you missed out some1 here and also the class, some NA-R become NA-SS and NA-SL become NA-R.

Anyway Thanks!

Do you own a Scuderia too or the grapes just taste sour to you?

Anyway, those are from semi damp condition in the 2nd session right? They seems a tad slower than what those car can do in dry.

Good job ZTH for the time attack event. A GT2 driving in wet, Aston cup car with wet tires, Sliding lotuses...That mark the start of the time attack motorsport of Malaysia.

again, Thanks alot Tom!! Great event..will be the for 2nd round..SURE!

Congrat to all the participance n ZTH of the success.. Do it annually n lets bring it to world class..

so because i dont own a scuderia means i cant comment bout the driver ? Heck, i dont even own a RM50k and above car.

Might as well dont talk about F1 drivers failing to score points, or a football player failing to score a goal 1 on 1 with the keeper, or our PM deciding to use our tax money for something unnecessary, coz we are not even close to be in their position.

Tom,
Did we miss some 1 here???

hi blue.taxi, please enlighten us, we've gone through the list countless times.
if there's someone we missed out, we need to know

Tom,

hi benzer, yes, unfortunately the categories inserted by Sepang had some mismatches. We tried to correct them as far as we can. if you detect any, please do let us know.

again, Thanks alot Tom!! Great event..will be the for 2nd round..SURE!

hi Tony, glad you enjoyed it, thanks for confirming your participation for the next round! we are eager to see even more GTRs in July!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but some of the timing above were actually taken from the open session afterwards, which is not the official timing session am I right?

Tom: base on the result sheet i have, result above is NA-R class, and some cars which clock faster than the top 20 road cars are missing. For example: car 25 in NA-SS

hi MrNismo

Thanks for the question

Being a Time Attack, The Time To Attack never stop recording times. The Open session which means All Categories session during the 5:20pm - 5:50pm remains as official as any of the sessions.

Due to the rain in the beginning that was drying up, The All Categories Session was introduced at the very last minute to encourage all drivers to put in their last efforts if they need to, not having to wait for an particular categories to complete their session at the 11th hour.

Hi, yee

Thanks for the heads up.
For some reasons Megat Arizal @ 2:43 was left out of the list. He has been put back on the list.

---------- Post added at 05:34 PM ---------- 6 hour anti-bump limit - Previous post was at 04:55 PM ----------

hi everyone, please be informed that Car No. 25 - Megat Arizal @ 2:43.158 has now been inserted into the Hall of Fame.

Sincerest Apologies to all and especially Megat Arizal

Thank you
Tom

Hi Yee,

I would not read too much into the timings for the TTA event. To class the last OPEN session as a damp track is pushing it in my opinion. Does not matter whether it was NA-SS or NA-R because it would not make sense for the drivers to improve their timings from 3mins + to 240s in "damp" conditions other than a very much drier track condition. In fact, the timing are closer to dry times already. Although still a few seconds off depending on the mods of the cars from my own encounters with sunny hot trackdays, at least for the FD2 Type Rs.

Do hope that the organisers appreciate the feedback and work the event as per the briefing and make it a genuine time attack event where conditions are more or less equal/fair for participants. At the same time, its understandable its the first time such an event is being conducted by them and everyone is learning. Probably the second TTA Sepang event will be a more accurate gauge.

The Hall of Fame looks more like an F1 qualifying session result in the sense that some cars put in times that top the charts in wet weather and then as the track dried out, those who will still around benefitted from the drier track. And yet everyone is classified together under (damp) conditions, a misleading gauge of Sepang times.

Cheers :burnout:

It was an awesome event Tom. congrats for pullin it off even though it was raining heavily. Too bad though Kenneth S. couldn't make it that day. :vollkommenauf:

U hv the turbo street right... I think u miss out the turbo semi-slick group... the top runner in that group was 2:35++ & the next 1 is ~2:40...
