Now this T25 turbo..after 6k rpm out of breath !! I think that T28 turbo can rev to 7.3k rpm :biggrin:

Ifi'm not mistaken, T25 is slighty smaller than td04. Alot of Saab user converted fom t25 to td04. Meaning to say, u'll feel a little laggy on low end, but ball bearing helps to spool a little faster. But u'llbe smiling in the top end...

I think this garrett t25 same size with Td04.....yup...not bad in top end :biggrin:
But it just spool only 6k rpm....... I still need to rev above 6k rpm.....have to kick the :LIFT"... This turbo good for gsr and those 6k rpm revter only..... hope this T28 bring me to 7.8k..... :rolleyes:
 
Gsr is not 6k taiko... In fact the new ones are more expensive than t25.
Normally gsr guys Up the rev until 9k. U can see at musc. Urs is vvti or vvtli?
If u play with the wrong gsr, u'll get smoked brother.

T25 is good for 1.3-1.5. If auto ppl use it for 1.6-2.0. Gsr td04l already better than T25.

Btw, when ur vvtli activates, it not only increase ur lift. It also change ur cam duration and valve timing. Aka highcam shift.

If u want really high horses, kill ur vvtli, go for low compression forged internals, plunk in gt30 and change to standalone brain. And 1000cc injectors. 400hp? Maybe more... Hehe.

I teach u a simpler way, take a oil filter relocation adapter(rm200 for JASMA), join the 2 hose 2gather, open ur oil filler cap, and put a spoon or 2 of sand(FOC) into the oil filler opening. Guaranty satisfaction, guaranty bursting ur engine within seconds. Lolz...

Get a 9.0:1 pistons. U'll never go wrong. u'll lose a little power on ur first gear till ard 3krpm. Then the rest of ur gearshift will feel good. So, no point remaining ur Na power, u won't even feel it nor realize it.

Gt28rs doesn't really help much in spoiling earlier. It does help in more intake due to the compressor housing with a bigger trim. So, higher boost also feels good. Compare to the normal gt2860. Wheel spin, use alstar tyre lo, sure can spin de..

That's for 400hp. Not urs cause that's not important for u. Get a 9.0:1 cr pistons. Back to driving fundamental... When u start playing on street, say at 100kmh, 4th gear would be ard 2-3krpm. Once ur rpm up to 3krpm, turbo kicks in, ur engine wil be force induced. U will never need ur na anymore.

At 2nd gear, when ur turbo kicks in, rev up to 9000rpm, then u shift gear, rpm drops to 6000rpm. Turbo still running. No shift lag. Don't worry.

If u wanna go for high cr, might as well stick to na. 231 engine not very hard to achieve 200+ whp. Why turbocharged? Afterall, u can ask 10ppl, 100ppl, or even 1000ppl, the answer will still be same. Just hope that u be honest when u tune ur car, pls let them know ur cr and ur targetted boost. So that they'll prepare a indeminity document for u to sign before the tuner tunes ur car. That to protect themselves from any liability for bursting ur engine.

Unless u wanna do it like me. Tune it urself. But take ur own risk.:smokin:

Becoz I really dont wanna above 1 bar...and now I'm just using 440cc fuel injectors ... 440cc can hold around 240whp++ & boost 0.8bar right?? OK...I will change my mind to 8:8.1 and get a GT28RS or GT2871R ..

Install the pistons, turbon wastegate. The boost 1 bar. Ok jor la. But make sure ur gb can take the amount of torque generated from the fi.

t28 if u boost 1.3 or 1.4 bar then can get 240whp~

S15 spec R get 0.8bar with 220whp .... and Cr is 8:8.1 If not mistaken...

Based on your needs, I believe supercharging will be a better choice based on their reputation on good low end power.
