the problems i facing now is the retrac one is using 7 wire and the socket is also a 7 wire socket.....
can't retrac one only use 3 wire......so can i use the 3 wire side mirror ?

your wiring is 7 wire or 4 wire?
if original is 7 wire, then can retract
but if only 4 wire, then it is not retractable

basically the side mirror will have the basic 4 wire (up,down,left & right)
the other 3 wire is for fold & unfold. u just need to match the wiring color and should be working (provided all the wiring is original & from the same class).

my one is 7 wires....but my fren told me bmw dun know wat model punya side mirror can use ....chun lor ....the pricei think sure chun oso

i hav 1 left side mirror.. is 96' ae111 5 wayar retractable all function working. is the same but dun know socket fit or not...

the problems is i dun know the wire parts nia ...retract or not is ok for me ...just tat my car socket is 7 wire socket...dun know if use 3 or 4 wire non retract side mirror the socket have to modify or just plug and play..

Then u ask the 3 or 4 wire socket size lo... 8 hole use 4 wire only then fit ma.. is the same. Mine is 6 hole use 5 wire only. simple...
