Jerk @ Ecu

any 4age 20V SVT owner faced jerking problems arising from ECU faulty?

bro, is ur ecu cover dented?? a fren of mine do encounter this situation b4, its not the ecu 'kong' but its the dented cover that short-circuited the component inside. luckily no major damage done to the ecu. u can remove the cover n add an insulation layer (a piece of transparency will do the job) to make sure the cover is not touching those component inside. hope this a remedy to ur problem.

cheers....:burnout:

jerking...
anything is possible...
not enough fuel, miss firing system, poor ignition, "cannot bernafas" SVT mostly due to AFM, faulty ECU...

better check with the mech...
and yet once solved please please please do tell us what the root cause...thanx...

i seen many thing solved here...but never knew what's the solutions...heeeee

Bro, jerking........ i been jerking for the past 3 years using SVT. is it happen when you are going around 20 - 60km/hrs? Nightmare man.

Bro Chinozie,
All that you have mentioned , I have tried and change still the same. I think the root of the caused is the wiring that the mech done on it. After I change to BT wiring & ECU, all the problems gone.
Just to share....

huuu...wiring, the part that well all hate the most...
heee...same goes to me...ECU burned, decided to upgrade...changed the wiring to BT:burnout:

Hi All,

I've been thru this problem mentioned too. I still haven't got a solution to it. The Mech said to change the Throttle body that he suspect is the throttle body sensor. I haven't changed the throttle body yet.

I'm having BLT in my car and the car will jerk only if I maintain in the RPM range of 2k-4k. The car will choke and jerk after a while driving, it goes normal then it will jerk again.

I've changed spark plugs, plugs cables. I have even added FPR which i suspect not enough fuel in the beginning. And still i'm searching for solution. Trying my luck here.

cheers.

similar case with u; problems frequent occur when driving at low speed. however, driving at high speed problems also occur but not as frequent as driving at low speed n not really can feel.

can diagose detect problems stated (not enough fuel, miss firing system, poor ignition, AFM, ECU)?

is it possible after diagnose done n find no error but still problems?

tired of try & error; testing1 by 1; poor ald.
