Firstly welcome to ZTH forum.

Secondly you do not cut the springs to lower a car, you change the springs to shorter ones, or change to those hi/lo suspension kit.
Cutting the springs, your springs will loose the tension required....

Agreed, dont cut but buy a lowering spring.a chopped spring might jump out from the mounting position during hard rebound and one might loses steering as the absorber is jammed.

on the chambering,i believe most tire shop can do it.

i am guessing TS is going for the super 'kangkang' look which is all show.

That's why mau cut, cuz for show only hehehe

alternative is get a set of sport springs, then inject your std absorbers with oil, can custom how low u want it,
but your ride gonna be hard as hell.

after a few years will leak.

I did it for my perdana, cos adjustables was expensive at that time.

Any stock shock are not advised to pair with lowered/cut spring.
TS better off with aftermarket coilover with hi lo and pillow ball feature.

Actually i wanna ask, is it worth getting a HLHS? I mean, do you guys really adjust it often? Coz to me, my impression is, once you found the sweet setting that you like, chances are you wont messed with it anymore. So worth paying the price? Why not just go get a custom set?

I used to share the same thought as you. In the end, I bought F-Tuned HLSH. Had I gone for just Hi/Lo, it would be approximately RM500 cheaper. Question is .. prior to handing over your money, do you know exactly what your personal sweet settings are?

After making the purchase, do I regret not getting the cheaper option? Initially, maybe I did. First time I adjust here/there, I thought I was done with it and these are my final settings. Later I realized that over time (actually not that long la), my preferences had changed. I have grown more tolerant of stiffer settings. So, do I regret now? Answer would be 'No'.

Why not just go get a custom set?
No matter how skilled the tuner may be at re-valving the shocks, ultimately it's your butt that determines whether it suits ya. Trouble is .. how sensitive is your butt and how soon does it convey the confirmed results to you? If like me, it was some time before I thought I might liked harder settings, you may have to make repeat trips back to the shop to have it adjusted. Bear in mind that those trips will likely take up too much of your precious time.

Do you mind disclosing how much you get your F-Tuned HLHS?

But if have decided to go for HLHS, why choose F-Tuned over other branded HLHS? After all, F-Tuned is also known for custom suspension right? :hmmmm::hmmmm:

Kindly elaborate. What other brands are we talking about?

As for customed setups, one must know beforehand EXACTLY what he wants. What does he wants that requires customization? Or to be more specific, what do YOU require that necessitates customization?

If one can buy from the departmental store, a pair of trousers that fits perfectly, would there still a need to visit the tailor for a custom made one from the same cloth? Farouk from F-Tuned used to be Ride & Handling Engineer (Group Leader) at Proton Research & Development, Chassis Engineering Section. Would be fair to assume he's intimately familiar with my car type (Proton Wira)
