According to this article...

..To achieve R94 and R95, a car manufacturer has to engineer the car accordingly. A car takes a minimum of three to four years to develop from scratch. Even for car assemblers in Malaysia who draw on Completely knocked Down (CKD) pack of parts, they need their principal in Japan, South Korea or Germany to provide the kit with the R94 and R95 compliant parts. The kit has to come from a car that’s designed to R94 or R95 specifications..

What is N-line proton saga? Only have M-Line, H-Line.

Which also explains the price of CKD Jazz Hybrid and CBU Model.

exempted wat? duty? sales tax?

Meaning its not safe. Does not comply with UN R94 (Frontal Collision) and R95 (Side Collision) safety requirements.

Landcruiser too.. It's the big bro of Toyota 4x4. Not safe? :hmpf:

LX570 -Half mil not safe? It takes a tank too destroys it wo..

Exempted means the list is safe, right?

Exempted means the JPJ did not do a QC check/test to see if they achieve the standard requirements RB something earlier mentioned by TS.

So in other words, those cars are not really safe? :afraid:
