2.5 and 3.0 A33 gearbox

hey guys, now my wiring is all working! however, my gearbox was confirm to be rosak. some said the 2.5 neo engine have to same gearbox as 3.0 brougham vip in malaysia. is this true?

may i suggest you get the gear ratio specs of cars running te 2.5 neo and compared it with the 3.0 brougham vip?

you were driving a 3.0 brougham, right?

sometimes it might be the gearbox's ECU, like for A32 itself there are different revisions...

yes but now transplanted with VQ25DD and the gearbox confirm kong. so my mech suggest to change to my original wan but unsure if it fits. but he know 2.0L confirm wont fit la. any idea?
my current gearbox the OD wont engage when its hot. any idea?

When you hot, do you mean gearbox is hot or water temperature is hot?

Think your old gearbox might fit in terms of fitting, but the gear ratio is an issue.
As for the OD, my guess could be any of the following:

1. Kong-ed gearbox and the gearbox ecu
2. Just the gearbox ecu alone
3. Wiring (again?)

Pretty sure your mechanic has eliminated possibilities and single out the gearbox, but which part of the gearbox is the one we need to find out... Like mine has a bit of grinding sound when engaging reverse, dismantled the whole gearbox and the sound is still there...
