Product review : Old vs New - Osram Night Breaker Plus Halogen Bulbs

just received my H7 (rm110) and H1 (rm90) from bro trojan.
there's this sticker on the side for shops to sell it at double the price.
so, buy from forummers are indeed cheaper. hehe..

Hmm.. what size did you install and on what car? Is your lamp glass clean and clear?

aiyo...u show the price...no nid to open new sales thread ady....hehehe :burnout:

Legal wise....i doubt there will be any problem compare those people who uses HID modification. I bought my unit about 5 months back from a supplier located along Jalan Segambut Utara. The shop houses have a big OSRAM logo. I bought from him at RM95/unit. Can get cheaper if buy more....those use GPS...can locate the shop at this coordinate 3.181727, 101.680473

H4 on lmst. clean and kinda clear lamp plastic..

Then I'm not too sure bro. I'm using a relay kit and have all those grounding kit, VS and etc. Perhaps electrically my cars more stable? Worse case scenario is you bought a fake Osram?

last time i tried night breaker plus H3 for my foglamp and it last for only 5 months..
it would give u slightly different colour compared to normal philips bulbs i use on H4..

could be just because of the camera white balance?

Manual mode with tripod. All settings exactly the same.

Strange. Everyone seems to have poor bulb lifespan. In that case I'm beginning to suspect mine is the exception since it lasted as long as it did for me.

That's a possibility since I have all the little gadgets and kits in my car.

yup, it's true.. actually i'm expecting longer lifespan while using these osram night breaker plus..
but the result is not as good as i'd like to get, and now i'm finding the reason why it happened..
i dont think the headlamp booster i'm currently using is the main factor to make it blow faster..

What is this headlamp booster?

some sort of power relay...I think it will eventually contribute to shorter lifespan of the bulbs

Myvi plug and play. Just make sure the wattage is ok otherwise too high a wattage and you'll burn the ori socket.

the wattage on the h4 that you are using is not a problem right? one more thing, where can i get an original one. scared of imitations. I'm living in ttdi. any suggestions?

I don't think I've ever come across fake Nightbreakers. I can only think of ENEOS for your location, but I'm sure some online forummers might have some for sale
