Normally we recommend do checking on every 1 1/2 years no matter new or used car
usually we will check ur Aircond cabin filter (which inside ur dashboard )

function is to filter dust and let cleaner, fresher and healthier air goes in the car.

Normally if you go service your air-cond. unscrupulous poreman will spray strong alkeline on your cooling coil for cleaning purposes.
But this process will also cause the thin manbrane to kena hakis and leak. End up need to change cooling coil.

exactly...i changed 3 cooling coils within 6 mths...all recond, no choice cos brand new not available.

Mine still cold but takes more time to cool the cabin up. Especially if parked under hot sun. Wanted to service but got distracted by so many other things i.e. change suspension, disc brakes conversion etc..

Probably nothing wrong then. Maybe just wind the windows down for a while to let the hot air out....for faster cooling.....

Normally drivers are advised to do air-cond servicing within 1 - 1.5 years.
It will clean the essential parts, e.g. evaporator coil, blower motor... for simple basic car care.

Prevention is better than cure.

Always Chicken and Egg story.
I have one friend service yearly, cost RM250, 5 years RM1250.00
Another friend don't service. Air con konk in 5 years, Repairs also RM1250.00
Same cost but minus 5 years of service time.

But different people have different priorities. Some wash weekly, some even daily. Some service 5k km, some 8k km, some polish monthly, some half yearly, so depends how you look at it....
