actually it depends on your tuner/mechanic....
my former foreman has a saga 1.5 sohc magma engine, he enters most of drag battle <1.6 category.......& win quite a number of trophies....
impressive.. mind sharing the spec?

carb or injection?

cam size?

Veloc,

i know what u mean.. in Malaysia, there's a lot of copycat products.. especially a piece of metal.. easy to copy.. besi ma.. then give it a name..

then, so stupid one to give name like JASMA.. their logo only can find on extractor & muffler only.. ORIGINAL PARTS..

if u find any other things using the JASMA logo/name, then confirm that it's a fake product..

here is JASMA website

JASMA@“ú–{Ž©“®ŽÔƒ}ƒtƒ‰[‹¦‰ïbƒgƒbƒvƒy[ƒW

* if u can't read japanese, search in google and click on 'translate this page'..

Thank you
Aha! You understand my meaning... Yeah... That's what i mean...

matspeed rm2k vs jasma rm400++. thats alot of difference....
but come to think again is it really that worth it spend so much for SOHC?
if u want reliability, go for works.
Hmm... Come to think of it, I agree with this. watrul3s, why not save up some money and get MIVEC next time? Or 4G92 DOHC. If lack of budget, I heard a head transfer is feasible. Well, come to think of it, if you want to go for a SOHC performance cam that cost 1.5 - 1.8k, just plonk in a 4G92 MIVEC head la! Cost around that also! But you get superb low-end torque for city and the powerful scream+pull for your highways! It's better than spending that amount on a SOHC and you have to compromise you low-end for top-end.

but now mivec 4G92 halfcut bout RM9-11k oOooo......
even the head also expensive edi as 4G93n/a owners uses it. = mivec 1.8
Hmm... True... Then find 4G92 DOHC lo... Easier to turbo next time. Compression not so high... DOHC again...

Wanna get 150-160BHP for 4G92P is possible but you will have to spend

1) Bigger TB (Perdana Sei TB, plug and play)
2) Port match 1.6 intake or get 1.8 SOHC intake (bigger)
3) Open pod or a high flow drop in air filter (K&N, Works)
4) Lighten crank pulley
5) Camshafts
6) Cylinder head PNP
7) Balance bottom block, can use back stock Proton 1.6 SOHC pistons or go MIVEC pistons
8) Exhaust system done up
9) Engine management system

Note: Make sure ignition all in good condition and change fresh engine oil before go dyno :D
And yes, if you go too high.....have to use RON97 :P

^ Should be able to net you a healthy 120HP at the wheels or more which is roughly 150BHP on crank (I roughly counted 20% transmission loss)

Attached is the dyno chart of a 4G92P with matspeed 280 cams
This is just mechanical whp as the mapping is not optimized, just remove rev cut (running heavily rich all the way)

Nice improvements from the stock 111 bhp :congrats:... But for 280 degrees, I think you can still optimise it by porting the heads and flow areas, oversize TB, and better engine management. Overlap with exhaust valve will help too!

All those done already, PNP, engine balancing, new 92p pistons, LCP, Perdana TB, ported intake manifold, exhaust system and K&N drop in filter
Now left management to go

Already using a chipped ECU
Now just need for the final remap base on the current dyno I attached
Need to lean out the AF then dunno what else the tuner will set, I have high hopes for it :D

After all set and done, redyno again with a set of fresh engine oil and oil filter and cleaned air filter :D

i think if u install e-manage + set campulley on dyno, you can get roughly 7-10whp more :)

Watch this heart-warming and innovative advertisement featuring the COLLISION PREVENT ASSIST. The 2012 Mercedes-Benz B Class comes standard with this safety features. A great video to show how a happy ending was achieved with one. Great standard equipment indeed.
