Anyway, my car's build was delayed for quite some time when I was waiting for some parts to arrive from Australia. The parts finally arrived, then one gtr34 decided to come in for an engine out job...

At least today I witnessed the engine going back into that gtr34...it's really not that big a job to pop an engine back into the car :proud:

I've 'tiuueed' (cocok) my mechanic to finish it before CNY but knowing how these things go, it's probably mid-late Feb before it can finally drive out.

The thing is, you guys are going to what I refer to as "jack-of-all-brand" workshops. Depending on the workshop or particular technician's experience on working on your car model, it may be good service or just so so (sometimes its cuz of trial and error).
As the workshop or technician becomes more familiar and experienced in servicing your car, no doubt the quality of work improves.

Actually Ken is not slow! The problem is that he has too many drive-in customers, but he is the only mechanic. Previously he only had 1 assistant but now he just hired another 1.

Don't know..maybe he was rushing to complete someone's car....

In my line, last time I worked for 36 hours straight on a regular basis. I really don't recommend it as it is bad for health. Also lack of sleep makes you prone to make mistakes.

I prefer for Ken to have enough rest and be happy
