Yup im using open trumpet without condom or netting,..
Stone go inside might be..but maybe better damage..or immediatelly brakedown...

Is not quality problem, normally if engine got problem mostly kena piston number 3, then second is kena number 2. The others are rarer

because of the short zorst manifold runners, heat soaks more in dat piston and damage it

it's tuning bro...
i might be having the same problem... 'dah makan minyak hitam'...
power still there only down a bit... might do overhaul after you...

probably next better to tune on dyno, then road, then recheck again on dyno...
a lot having same issue even trackers...
it's when you lift-up your throttle from WOT, and then step on it again...:listen:

don't worry i'm not quoting or blaming you for anything...
coz like my engine, a lot of hands has tried to tune it and last is you...
at the time my engine is already 'so-so' coz 'dah start makan minyak hitam' already...

probably coz i'm using EmB and many tried to extract the most out of it...
they forgot that EmB is piggyback - meant to compensate what ori ecu can't...
with cam higher than 270, i know it's best to use standalone instead...:shot:

perhaps during the last overhaul, the mechanic tooking off the piston pin and make it invisible cracked already. Another way might be your engine run slight lean.

i've blown many engines and pistons before, in my opinion ringlands failure are due to the age of the pistons... maybe used too long already. never heard new pistons experiencing ringlands failure, even in badly bored engines... usually piston rings suffer due to bad clearance but never ringlands...

quick review thru google... show many possible causes...
however they're mainly on boost application not NA...

my conclusion...
too high compression for stock OEM pistons...

maybe forged piston is the next route...:burnout:

i never kena on car....

but on race bike it is usual case of over compression/too advance ignition timing with prolonged knocking....

and probably usage of lower rated RON fuel instead of the actual RON needed for the engine... (last time because use RON92 fuel over RON97 during race) :adore:



maybe u can give us some detail on engine spec./mods/tuning and current state of the engine before this happen... :adore:
