Normality78, i did remember you seeking to buy this mag when it first came out. Well its a dissapointment ya?

yeah, initially they was good. but thn slowly u can see they r going down. one thing i heard is that they r very picky with the car initially that piss off alot of potential "customer" that wanted to publish thier car with the mag. i went to borrow the lastest mag after reading this mag, thn i told my fren, why buy this "ricers" mag? whahahah.

yeah man. i have seen alot of those plp who only wanna oggle at women free stuff. i do support those bookstore which allow us to browse thru be4 buying. coz some mag really have interesting cover but empty content.

here in Spore, i do have a few all time fav bookstore. some of the bookstore staff even get to know me liao. Some are so nice that even let me unwraped the plastic to browse thru be4 commit to buy. this is what i call customer service.

EG8 I think subsonique stopped working for Traffic long time ago rite? I mean really long time ago! If he was still working there, i'm sure his picture would be in the front pages of the Traffic mag staff too. I noticed there are a few new guys there.

I do support local stuff. In fact sometimes i find myself buying Otomania, Putera, Kereta and many more small mags and also Option VCD. Sometimes i run up to RM100 a month just for mags and Option VCD!! But if i'm paying so much for local mags and they don't have quality, i can always go to Kinokuniya and buy Drift Tengoku, Option, Option 2 and many more car makes books. Hell if i wanna get cheaper imported mags, i could always go to amcorp mall at the 9.90 store. And also the countless mamak shops that sells old issues for 5 bucks a pop.

trd16v, haiyaaa!!! If i wanna look at chicks i could just buy CLEO or any female mag la. hahaha. What for wanna hide and seek and buy seemingly manly gadget books just for the sake of seeing girls? Haiiyaaaa!

Normality78, yeah man. At first they were a good mag. Hell i did say how much they look like and feel like Eurotuner. But none of the staff at Traffic (that time a few of them hangs out here) did want to admit that the influence is there. Which is fine by me. Since many mags arranges their shots and text so Microsoft Wordly. hahaha. But since after so many issues i skipped. Only to find this mag a total rubbish. And there were smattering of Japanese words everywhere! (BTW i've nothing against Japanese) (For more why Japanese don't do english, read up The Star 22 Mar today!)

BTW i see the Traffic VCD gain and again. I still cannot get rid myself of the feeling of porn video. Hahahaha. That silly Japanese girls interview segment! Man.... the dialogues sooooo spells porn video. hahaha.

True, he stopped working with Traffic long long time ago.But it will be nice if subsonique can comment on this matter, WHICH , i think , he will refrain from doing so.( for some reasons )

one thing i wanna say, some ppl really like syiok sendiri. like they do it their own way and asked the consumer to eat everything they served.

Yea i agree the quality of English needs to be upped.. it's pretty sickening to read the articles and notice plentiful grammatical errors. On the other hand.. the layouts are good and whoever's doing the Mental Modding photoshop is really good.

Traffic should really get a proper copywriter that can write real good English. C'mon! There's only a handful of English language tuner mags in town.. at least go on par if not above the rest. Content-wise is pretty good already~

And tone down on the Nihon-fanboyism. Sure it's fun, but having to read real tacky Japanese quotes every other lines is pretty embarassing.

Yeah.. agree with blackhowling.. im very new in this industry and know nuts about cars.. but i believe it should be sent to Trafic directly instead of posting it out here.. You may be an expert in cars and I must admit you are way far ahead of me; but somehow you gotta keep a little pride to yourself instead of being the whitsle blower here..

Shoot me for posting this up but I've been a Traffic, Hypertune even K-Kompak reader for some time now and I find it quite interesting to do it their own way. It's all up to one's opinion and we can't just compare an apple to an orange. Imported mag have their own resources and goodness sake their mother toungue is English. No one can ever claim their English level is excellent. Is up to your own opinion. I still believe sometimes little "Manglish" seems fun.

I'm not defending any magazine here but I'm defending all publishing organization or even any organization. We sometimes have to be a little pro in handling stuff. What you do refelcts who you are. I'm not saying I'm good either. JUST MY 2 CENTS OPINION.

My favourite mags are TRAFFIC n HYPERTUNE.

To me Traffic is also my favourite mag. Yes they do some mistakes n i did comment then n they listen. I even did this to Hypertune. Oh ya, I m sorry to say this but HYPERTUNE still made the same mistake since issue 16. DRIFT KING'S NAME IS KEIICHI TSUCHIYA NOT KELLCHI TSUCHIYA. Since b4 they dont know who was the drift king n given him a wrong name called "tetsuya techya". Now, KELLCHI ?????

At least Traffic was not as worst than one malaysian car mag i read. Bad info they put there. By the way this is my review.
