Today when i was on the way to Ipoh, when i tried to tekan til maximum (that time my pivot showing 209kmh), suddenly there was a very loud sound "POPPP" sound from my front hood, but there was not overheating, radiator, cooler all are fine and there did not have any smoke from the engine bay. I quickly stop at road side n idling was fine too. So i just wondering where and how did this "POPPP" sound came and happen? I just had top overhaul few days ago, parts all in stock condition just replaced with TRD metal head gasket. Before overhaul, i go until 220kmh also have no problem. Anyone faced before or know what could caused this happen?
Thanks for anyone giving opinion. :burnout:

Bro... i guess there's your answer... you just did top overhaul a few days ago and already whacking your engine over 200km/h??? As with any overhaul, its best to run in the engine first and replace the engine oil before whacking the living life out of it. Also best to re-check valve clearance and other checks after the first 1000km of running in.

But anyways, the popping sound could be some animal (prolly a bird) that was hit by a car traveling at 200 over km/h... heheh

Btw, drive slow bro.. the road from KL to Ipoh is pretty bad... you always go Ipoh is it?

pcmoddingmy : I had asked TWICE from the foreman and he said no need to run in, just drive, so....how could i don't whack it after top overhaul? i want to ensure the power is still there. About animal i can confirm it is not because i had checked every parts from the engine bay and it is clean :)

I seldom drive so fast bro just that day want to test the top speed after overhaul only. Ya, i know the road condition is very bad. Yeep, i will go back once a week at least.

Captain Fast : LOL, one of my plate alpherbet already broken so police may not capture me :p

Fitting a tyre on a wheel is easy. To stretch a narrower than suitable tyre to a wider wheel require a different set of skills as the regular practice will prove almost impossible. This exploding propane technique is one of the many homemade ways to stretch a tyre onto a wider wheel. Though we'd not recommend anyone trying without proper safety measures.

If you care to understand the culture, when it's all about stance, stretched tyres can really compliment and complete the look of a...
