just a noobie question.
Is it possible to make a Ver.8 to have the old school sound of ver.5?
u know, the old skool turbo boxer sound that makes a boxer so distinct from others?
Just like the Harley...
Cos the newer version just sounded a bit not so boxer to me....
just a noobie question on a scooby doo...hope someone can pin point...thanks

not possible to go back to pure boxer sound just change extractor,uppipe,downpipe,oil pan and single scroll turbo and you get pure high end boxer sound,but lose more 500rpm turbo lag lol...:banghead:.

Sti improved this turbo lag weakeness for V8 onwards by using equal length header and twin scrool turbo. SO don't go back :burnout:

Buy a harley or kawasaki er6n then change the eksos. Sure got boxer sound :rofl:

Ronnie how come your original engine compression ratio is 8.00:1 did you put thicker gasket?

By the way your engine oem the 2.06 bar is very very dangerous man.

sorry this not my car is our member car,
sorry my mistake not 8.00:1 is 8
hi...hi...until now 8 mount liew...,this member car no problem with 2.06 bar i think,maybe that tuner (papa snails) got secret :adore:2moro i ask now running what boost,he very satisfy with this setting,not like before got many problem (valve spring broken built by ae and tune by ken),so he fast fast run away.

papa snail got two set off v-pro if u want call him,dono your engine built need see first piston and gasket.

not 2.06 bar now running 1.6 bar only,dyno machine boost hose got problem.

PISTON is mahle 93mm piston manley h beam rod and cosworth bearing head gasket oem. How many boost can it be. My engine builder told me max 1.7bar

normally vfxx turbo only can support maximum 1.5-1.6bar (in dyno not using defi or xxx),if your engine forged already sure can support 2bar ++,but your turbo lel...???
