i dont own a kancil..but i just thought ill share with you this story...i think it was the most brutal kancil i ever saw in my life....me and my friends(4ppl) were in a wira near cheras highway,connought side heading like going to phoenix...we were cruising at that straight road at around 155-160km/h at around 2am...next thing we know....my friend look at the rear view mirror and saw this lights coming pretty fast...the windows were down....next thing we know..we heard this monster sound....zipping past us....and believe it or not it was a Red Kancil !!!! he was the most brutal kancil i have seen in my life...easily 180km/h ++ ..the best part was...his kancil damn steady on the road...doesnt look like its gonna topple over or do a somersault ...then we gave chase later,he slowed down....we went beside him we all sticked our finger out...not the one you think.... it was all THUMBS UP !! if the owner is here and reading this...we salute you bro....the most gangster kancil we have seen...this was about 3-4 yrs ago....from that day onwards i never ever looked down on kancils....and i love to see them run in drag races....some of them have great times... :top: :top:

i have kancil ex 660 convert engine to L502 660 twincam 16v 5 speed. 1st gear 35kmh..2nd gear 75kmh....3rd gear 119kmh...4th gear dunno , meter was touch meter rame..5th gear same dunno

L2S engine with 850cc kancil block + TD04 turbine + wastegate can reach 175kmh easily...without any management...

now change to L2s block + 2E piston already...never push to the limit but the torque is lower than 850cc stroker kit...

wat is the stock engine type for old model Kancil 660cc actually?
My dad bought this little joy for me fitted with L200-RS with word"DAIHATSU" on engine cover(i hav little knowledge on kancil so i dont know if it's stock really).

The only mods i am sure is the extractors've been upgraded. It goes 140km/h(that's max for my meter) so i'm not sure if it is actually faster than that la. i frequent ipoh-lumut port 60mins+/-

I'll be trading it for a Nissan A31 soon.

BTW i drive a manual/t . I am a fan of manual transmissions. haha... hav the "I'm-in-control" feeling, very good.

i would suggest u to go for manual transmission..
with proper fueling upgrade/management..
then u will see the difference..

mine by using td0409 only..internal stock..achieved 128hp/1+ torque..
