Indeed it's a great car :) Very quick around the track.

The engine's developed by AMG right? Maybe that's why it's litre to bhp ratio is less than the enzo. The enzo is only 6.0L and produces 660bhp whereelse the Zonda F produces only 602bhp and it's 7.xL right?

the zonda F definitely looks better than the old zonda...
looks vr cun with all the carbonfibre touchups.... bravo bravo...

Juan Manuel Fangio was much more than a great champion. His accuracy, his uprightness, and his human and technical sensibility were among his qualities, typical of the old-time men, they have been for me, an example and an inspiration source. Very often, I ask myself how something so material, like a drawing or a technical choice, can express and convey the philosophy of such a men. The name of “el coche”, the way he used to call the car, should have been Fangio F1. He followed the project with a strong enthusiasm, according to his ideas the F1 had to be innovative, safe and had to be powered by a Mercedes-Benz engine. He then passed away and as a sign of respect I did not dare to call the car Fangio F1 and I decided to name it Zonda, “el viento de los Andes”. Today, after years spent in a rigorous search for perfection, the result is the Zonda F, a car that I wish to dedicate to Juan Manuel Fangio, the man who has made everything different.

I think the Enzo produces 650bhp. But they do have the Fxx which has even more with 800+ bhp, but that's a full fledged track car. Ferrari really have mastered the art of the NA, high revving, high specific output engines. Just look at the engine in the F430. 4.3 litres and 490 bhp.

Anyway, the Zonda's engine is 7.3 litres and in club version they can produce up to 630+ bhp if I'm not mistaken. But it is more torquey compared to the one in the Enzo. That's the benefit of more displacement. More torque. Nobody escapes from this fact, not even Ferrari.

yeah actually the enzo gets it's torque and power curve from the high compression rate of it's NA. It's the only petrol car I know to run 11:1 compression w/o detonating.

Yeah the zonda should be high on torque coz all mercedes benz engines are torquey, it's their nature of producing cars with large displacement engines which are more quiet and comfortable than japanese high revving ones :)

What is surprising is that the Zonda F is faster than the Enzo round a track even with the horsepower deficit and roughly the same weight. Is it the torque? Also remember that the Zonda F doesn't have a trick sequential gearbox.

power to weight ratio causing it to beat enzo on the power board??...

zonda is much lighter than enzo but..

it cant be sold at US coz not meet the safety bla bla things..
