"The philosophy of Renaissance man like Michelangelo & Leonardo Da Vinci are the one that guided the design direction of the company",said Francesco Zappacosta,managing director of Pagani Automobili of Modena.The romantic feels of pre-war era of luxury,individualy stitched interior are eveident around all the car,including the baterry holder straps,front & rear cover tie-straps.
All was done in magnificient,astonishing way,as the classical & typical Italian should be.

The small man,that envision the classical way of car artistic appeal while combining it with his favourite subject(Group C LeMans racing car) is none other than the founder himself,Mr Horacio Pagani.Always a smart-dressed man,he was able to convinced Mercedes-Benz & soon Mercedes own tuning arm, AMG to supply him a bulk of high performances Mercedes derivative V12 engine,for his creation that would forever be remembered as one of the iconic sportscar from the last decade:ZONDA.

The founder of Modena Design & Composite after he left Automobili Lamborghini in late 80',just when he finished the evolution project for Lamborghini,which is a composite technology experimental (the Countach Anniversary with Carbon composite chassis tub,which is experimental technology for road car during the time)

With all the experience,Modena Design was started in 1991,as the company to provide Pagani's quality design to all other ventures including interior design,architectures & furniture design.
The company also took a chance to do special composite material for cliente' like Ferrari,Lamborghini ,Aprilia,Ducati,& F1 team.

Boosted by the success,he take one step further to do what he considered as dream-job:
Supercar company that made a car according to his very own direction,& with all the greatness from racing-car inspired handling & chassis,very torquey powerplant,& the look that combine the classical element of renaissance styled art-drawing with Le Mans group C prototype aerodynamic exterior.So Automobili Pagani was born in 1992 with the iconic Zonda C12S that appear in 1999 edition of Geneva Motorshow.

The success continues,& the rest is assured,but as the time for Zonda(which is the only line-up of Automobili Pagani) is getting too long,& the new design direction is emerged to take place,the Zonda has been on major facelift on each subsequent year,especially the base of other high-performances Zonda derivatives,the F which released on 2007.

The F is the base of other high-performances oriented model that would soon emerged,be it on one-off special(750,RAK,HH,Uno,PS) or limited edition release(Cinque,TriColore,Clubsport,GR Monza) & the extreme track-only variant,the R.(Which include Clubsport edition with low drag wing some aero changes)



The iconic,earlier version of Pagani Zonda,the C12S.Unveiled in 1999,the C12S was the basic Zonda of all with 480+hp from old lump of Mercedes benz V12 coupled with AMG 5-speed manual transmission.
The aero consist of Le Mans Group C racing car which is taken inspiration from the looks of Sauber Mercedes C9,C11 & C291.It also had "split wing" aero device on back which later removed on high-end variant.

The new Zonda F is powered with bespoke,AMG-derivative engine which taken from Mercedes benz lineup but completely overhauled inside-out to make more power.Aside,the interior look much more luxurious,more neo-retro inspired stitching & instrumentation dial especially middle console,swithgears,& speedometer binacle & instrumentation which was akin to the luxury,expensive watch & designed to be like chronograph.

Exterior wise is much evident,with rear wing is true racing type spoiler,new magnesium wheels & brake(carbon ceramic).The aerodynamic on the bodywork is much more clean thanks to the redesigned air inlet to overcome the old NACA air ducting.

However the evident is the front end design which had 3 paired eyed headlight compared to 2 from the earlier model.In the back the simple rear end grill frame is redesigned with more oblong grill frame setup,which is similar to company logo & the is new tricked rear end diffuser with 3 paired of rear light on each left & right.

This is by far the Zonda variant that would sparked another one-off bespoke version & extreme variant of the same car.(Zonda R)
