just trying to help those who've been wanting that 1.8/1.8t/mivec 1.8/mivec 1.8t but can't do it because their car is 1.3..or have the $$$ to do it but no $$$ to pay runner...when asked why use runner? 1.3 cannot go 1.8 maa, so need to use runner so can got up to 1.8...
BULLSHIT!

unless u've got extra to spend and lazy to go do kawal selia and all...runner is the only person to call...

i've just settled off my inspection 1.3 to 1.8...i passed it with flying colours..hehe
things to take note:
suspension must be for 1.6 and above is a must
disc brakes front and rear is a must
make sure car's not overly lowered
no tints
exhaust must be at a normal human's acceptable level
to make exhaust even more quieter, use back oem air filter(box)
no mivec bonnet and bodykit not to extreme.
by extreme means as long as it still looks like a proton then you'll be fine
follow these guidelines you'll pass.make sure everything runs well like your brakes and suspension.
time might be a bit long but it took me rm60 for the inspection.that's all
no undertable or whatsoever

i fergot to ask about 2.0...that also might be a myth as well..i'll double check on that for confirmation

2.0 confirm cannot jor..... jpj already sent out confirmation letter to puspakom informing them not to approve any proton cars with 2.0L engine except perdana...

2.0 confirm cannot jor..... jpj already sent out confirmation letter to puspakom informing them not to approve any proton cars with 2.0L engine except perdana...
how bout Putra 1.8L...???
or can upgrade by step by step... from 1.5L-1.8L-2L....???

i think what he meant was, only perdana can register another 2.0L engine, others such as putra or gti, even with a 1.8 powerplant where a 2.0L conversion would be within the 30% increase is CC is still forbidden.

saw ACA 'please' many runner & puspakom/JPJ officer back to their office 'yam cha'... dunno can pass the inspection onot for those 1.6L to 2.4L...damn it...

turbo?dowan lah...2wd not shiok woo..plus not safe for the cassis

heha...to save alot rather than paying runner..you'll need to do some running around.seriously worth the hassle.
1. go to kawal selia in putrajaya to get jpj inspection (PG10)
2. bring letter to jpj branch to do a test drive for brakes and suspensions.if lulus get pg10 letter need to submit back to kawal selia to get puspakom inspection letter
3. then only bring car for inspection at puspakom and then endorse on geran/pink slip.

to get kawal selia to get those two letters out takes less than 2 weeks each.so within a month.for both inspection come early in the morning like 730. it takes about 30 minutes can settle.
need to pay 60 at puspakom only.petrol around 50 bucks for all the trips.total rm110.standard runner 2k...you save rm1890 can buy emanage ultimate or high cams or defi or japan rims or rsm AND safc neo...haih~ 1.8k alot weyh!
