I think your aircond is in working conditions. The current situation might be due to the spoilt compressor wiring onli.

Bring your car to kedai to check la..close story.

how about when the a/c is running on "ECO" mode? I notice mine cuts off randomly...
-when used just after engine start in de morning (even if the weather is warm)
-sometimes its just random...driving on some highway...the snow icon disappears on the display (compressor off)...


any ideas?

just switch off the ECO mode.
Use manual with the "snow icon"

i could do that...but i notice it makes a helluva difference with my fuel consumption...
altho i do switch the eco mode off when it cuts off and takes too long to turn the compressor back on.

anyone have any idea how this ECO mode really works? (or supposed to work?) links to any literature is appreciated...

Mine was giving this weird problem also. When i set my air-con to MAX, the aircon can turn itself off...after I refill the aircon gas, then it was ok.

Maybe there is a sensor in the aircon to detect whether there is enough aircon gas or not.

makes little sense, but u see...if you're low on gas, cooling is affected, and i'll still be having problems even with ECO mode off...

my a/c is FREEZING cold! i normally set it to 27C, if its a really hot afternoon then it'll be lower of course...hehe...this whole thing with the ECO mode doesnt really bug me, but i'm just curious to know...and if there's a solution, better still! =)
