good mod, if properly done. only thing I didn't like was that the power comes in a bit later than I would like.

agree with praetorian.

If you go on mivec, the only problem is you only can feel the different after reach 5000rpm. Otherwise, not big different if you compare with 4g93.

I just drive 1 of my friend car yesterday which he using mivec engine on WIRA (AUTO). Pretty nice engine and very smooth.. After 5000rpm, you can really feel the "True power" and smooth...

4g93 got 2 type.. 1 is SOHC (previous perdana engine).. which another 1 is DOHC.. but 4G93 DOHC is quite hard to get now.. most halfcut shop is come with SOHC.. this engine powerful but fuel consumption abit high lohh..

if you like to know more.. pls PM me.. :)

ok,i'm driving a putra so i already hav the dohc 4g93,just want to get some advise like using 1jz timing belt, mivec head complete with wiring and ecu,do i also need the map sensor, injector??
currently using a 60mm throttle body, and a stock93p inlet manifold.exhaust is hotbits 4-1 ,till the muffler.need to upgrade to mivec too??
also read frm somewhere that the mivec ecu is for 1.6 need to b rechip or afc to tune it,can the matspeed J5 do the job as well??
