Glad it helped. I hate I losing the running settings cos I'll get rough idling for a few days. Unless no choice, I'll usually replace the battery with my car started.
Problem started when the battery empty suddenly. But after I put the key inside and turn it to ignition, the battery come back online and can start the car easily like normal. So I really don't know is it the battery kong or problem with battery cable...
You mentioned that the battery is dry. Is it a maintenance-free battery or not? Check the connections, are they loose? Is there a lot of white powder near the terminal? So have you changed to a new battery?
Hey, my dad's Vios(dugong) idling too low and sometimes can lead to engine stalling.
He went to Toyota service centre and this is what the SA told him.
"Vios is meant to be used with RON97 petrol, RON95 use d will leave carbon, that's why the ECU adjust the timing become like that. Cannot adjust timing manually also, so you need to bring your car in for diagnostics"
WTF? Vios is meant to be used with RON97?
What bullshit is this guy saying?
What to do now? Really can't manually...
