We first had a look at the BMW X5 M from G-Power packing 600hp and a subtler version of their Typhoon body kit towards the end of last year. Now, the madmen at G-Power have bolted on a wider Typhoon body kit to the X5 M with the go to match its show.

The wider kit allows for a 15 per cent improvement in cooling which will aide the bump up in power by 168hp. Combined with the stock power output of 547hp, the total power output now stands at an astonishing 715hp with 890Nm of torque.

All that torque is available from just 1,500rpm and pulls the X5 M Typhoon to the century mark in 4.2-seconds and onto a top speed of over 300km/h.

The increased airflow allowed G-Power to remap the ECU and throw in a sports catalytic converter mated to G-Power exhaust manifolds to free up the airflow out the rear. The further addition of new connection pipes between the turbos and the cylinder heads minimizes the pressure and thermodynamics loss.

Just to be on the safe side, the X5 M’s transmission was beefed up to handle 1,000Nm of twisty force.
