Hi all,

may I find out the limits for the Evo2 pistons to withstand boost pressure?

Is 1.2 bar safe for evo 2?

Yes, actually I've heard of this evo3 conrods 'crank-walking' which would effect the piston rings at higher boost due to vibration.

Can I have a more clearer explaination from your expertise on what exactly a 'weak' evo conrods meant? Is it due to 'crank walking' or its the material strength of the conrod itself?

Thanks in advance bro... Having said that, can I say 1.2 bar boost is still dangerous?

For mine, I've yet to change though.. But with the stock pistons, I'm sketical that it can withstand 2 bar...

So u running on 2 bar with stock pistons?

bai , evo piston ker , im sure he is using 87mm JE :P

its not a question of how much boost they can handle, rather it is how much your engine pings. they will survive a lot of boost if your engine doesnt ping. conrods might not though.
