farizio is referring to the slide backwards down the hill at the traffic lights trying to balance the twin plate clutch

Anyways, I've so far refrained from posting cause I don't have many encounters worth mentioning. However, about 10 mins ago I turned off the NKVE at the Seafield exit heading towards Kota Kemuning. I'm not sure of the highway name (ELITE?) and I was merging into traffic. When I was in the middle lane about to merge into the fast lane, I saw a Waja and Satria fast approaching. Naturally, I wait until they past.

Once in the fast lane, it occured to me that those two cars were racing. Then I noticed the Satria was slightly modded and had a ZTH sticker on its bumper. The Waja was stock as a rock with nothing to indicate his racing heritage. So I thought to myself, maybe they aren't racing but rather there is something they are all rushing to, like a sale or warehouse clearance. I admit, this got my attention so I dropped from 6th down to 5th to pick up some speed.

At the same time, these two cars were weaving in and out of traffic using all three lanes, and at one point, even the emergency lane. To me this seemed silly cause it was 5pm and traffic was heavy. In fact, it irritated me because these guys were weaving in and out endangering other people yet were hardly 100m ahead of me and I was driving at highway speed since the engine has not run-in (less than 1500km to hit 5000km! yay!).

So I decided to give chase and within seconds caught up to the Satria and well, I guess I blinked cause it disappeared somewhere behind me. I think I need magnifying rear view mirrors installed. Then, I must have blinked again (damn I need to stop blinking or I'll forget to double clutch and start granny shifting the same way I did when I lost to Johnny Tran) because the Waja also became a molecule in my rear view mirror.

Then the thought hit me.

A modded Satria with more stickers than stamps at a post office had lost to a stock Waja. That's like drowning in a puddle of AIDS. OMFG. I'm not surprised my car caught up much less left them behind but rather the almost minuscule lack of effort needed - I was in 5th gear for the most part and maybe dropped to 4th when I had to weave through traffic (guilty as hell! yes I am! but it was for a good cause!) not to mention my 5000rpm limit. I probably got 0.3-0.4bar of boost at most during that short 'run'.

I guess the moral of the story is - roads closed pizza boy, find another way home. :driver:

Was hardly a challange nor was it a race. Just that those two drivers are exactly the type who would most likely cucuk me at other times etc. So I thought might as well see what they were made of. Sadly not much.

Bump: Last night I was on NKVE heading from Shah Alam to Damansara and just before the Subang exit I came up behind this Perdana V6 with single digit plate. Despite going slower and having the middle and slowest lanes empty, the driver refused to yield.

So I got closer just in case he did not realize as sometimes people don't realize what's behind them. So I shifted down a gear the closer I got, in anticipation of this guy giving way. That led to a huge pop complete with flames. Very slowly and reluctantly the driver moves to the centre lane and I pull alongside the Perdana, and due to my rebelious nature, shot out a good 3-4 pops, bangs and flames.

As I overtake the car, I glance over and what do I see above the number plate?

"MENTERI"

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah. I did what is expected of any Skyline owner - I just let out more flames and then drove off. I wonder who it was. Thank God I never did that in my STI or I'd be so screwed. :banghead:

My dad? Why would he know the fella? He was at his home sleeping. I was alone at the time

Anyways, this was a new car. Usually can guess who it is by the number plate - some of them have favorite numbers such as PM (13) and DPM (11). I don't really know much about this sorta thing. You want info on who drives what car, etc must mix with the drivers and catch their gossip.

I kind of guess it was a Government car but I was not entirely sure cause from far it looked like any other Perdana. But once I got closer it was obviously some VIP. But the fking driver refused to keep left unless overtaking and centre lane was empty. The drivers just won't give way in most cases.

two day ago, i was on my way to work in tanjung malim. as i was cruising along the old road an ek snagged on my tail. i was still cruising at around 100kph so i let him over take me since the traffic began to get busy.. then he over took a lorry infront of my.. so, since we are used to a bit faster pace. i over took the two lorrys n the ek which was in between the two lorrys.. and continued my journey. suddenly i saw the ek on my tail again. now, he was really close.he couldnt over take me since there was on coming traffic. when the road cleared up. i heard him down shifted n the high lobe Vtec kicked in.. but by now it was a twin lane.. i was also cruising. funy part was he was struggling to overtake me n he did but up front was a 90 degree sharp turn. so he overtook me proudly n took the turn.. then spun 180 degrees in embarrasment.. good thing there was no trees on on coming traffic..or else he would be a tin of sardin.. funny part was, i was driving my kancil.. minding my own bussiness. idiots!! good car but dumb ass driver !!

Yesterday a Waja came close to my tail pretty fast. I dropped gear and floored away. It was at night on the PLUS highway so all I could see was the bluish headlight.

Later I got bored and slowed down. Then the same bluish headlight came back. It passed me and while it was on my side, I glanced and saw it was white with blue logos on it saying PDRM.

There are police that loves Skylines too ya know. My ride's so friggin tinted I'm so afraid to drive it out.

I was driving at a slow pace when a patrol car drove next to me and gave me a honk. I swallowed hard and hoped they'll get it over and done with but to my amaze as I turned and looked, they gave me a thumbs up, smiled and continued on. I smiled and thank them like someone just handed me a million ringgit. Yes, real pathetic.

sometime ago I read sumwhere, there's this guy drove his 180SX and got pulled over by patrol car. It turns out that the two cops were interested on his car. Looks like the two cops were Nissan fans. Hahaha..
