DC5 problem's and solution pleaseee

yo..let me start the thread..hope this thread will be our discussion about the problems encounter by us about dc5 and probably can have the solution

since i have encounter problem regarding fuel consumption lately.. which my fc increase from time to time.. latest fc full tank = 350km for standard ayam like me..not so good maaa...so i have made a lot of trial and error ..trying to locate what are the cause of the problem... it may cause by a lot of factor from the spark plug, tyre pressure..etc..

is the hondata setting lari??lari maa...i figure out when jacky dyno the car..seems my fc graph its totally different from the past dyno.. so really weird about it.. so after a few trial n error..wasting the money..so the problem is cause by the catalyzer (ignore kalau spelling salah) ..tersumbat maaaa...so guyz kalau next time ur fc worst..karate ur catalyzer out..for my case..its settle..

for the sake of discussion, what other possible reasons can there be for sudden increase in Fuel Consumption?

a) power loss through drive train? Wear and tear of clutch?

b) low efficiency of drive shaft ?

c) leaking extractor / exhaust ?

d) fuel pump / fuel filter irregularities?

e) sensor errors ?


any other suggestions?

Also the very common cause: Tyre under pressure.
Unhealthy engine as well e.g. bad piston rings, gasket, etc

some prolem can cuase bad FC,,,,,

a) exhast bocoh...or change the wrong size exhast system...

b)check light is on..the ecu will auto spray more feul into the engine .

c)feul hose leaking...n setting wrong feul regurater presure..

d)wheel bearing jam n brake caliper piston jam....

e)soungd system..heavy wiegh sound system..cuse car to heavy..

f)tyre...wrong rotationsize too big .less presure.wrong type like raly tyre on road..or slick tyre.

g)engine damage ..ovehaul engine using wrong touqe to tight the bolt...n mesure the engine bearing...

my FC is quite bad now , still can't really trouble shoot the problem.

AFR is correct , no leaks in the system ................

even though i've got a bit of power output on my car, it still doesn't justify the really poor FC !

Vagabond i think YOUR PIPES ARE ALL TOO BIG......if fuel hose leaking you can smell fuel.....

That's because prasath only polished the tip/head of your pipe.
