New or used? If used which model?Hey there folks,
I'm an enthusiasted Audi manufacturer especially when it comes to Audi A5. I'm currently a Mercedes owner and i find it quite convenient when it comes to maintanance, it shouldn't be a major problem as if it has to compared with other continental cars. But i heard that audi has a big isssue on gearbox and it gonna cost me way too much $$$ if I have it maintained on it. Would it be relevant if I'm considering taking one? What are you suggestion? And how much do I have to spend per year priorly on maintenance etc. ?
Regards,
Naim Fauzi
For the full set la. Not per piece. Bilstein full set standard setup is 5k-ish for Audi A4/6I was told by the tire shop owner his A4 suspension cost bout RM5K per piece....A5 should be more if not less....

Maybe not leaking but burning oil a lot.Besides supensions.. their oil engine leaking like hell too right?
Change from 5w-40 to 10w-60......lolMaybe not leaking but burning oil a lot.
Still won't help. I know a guy who had tried that.Change from 5w-40 to 10w-60......lol
Wow, and Audi SC still don't know what is wrong? or is like that......lolStill won't help. I know a guy who had tried that.
AFAIK, the oil consumption problem is due to the manufacturing problem with their piston/rings so technically it came defect from the factory. Cars affected are A4, A5 & Q5 those equipped with 2.0T engines up to 2011. At some point in 2011, they've finally fixed it and cars manufactured after 2012 generally shouldn't experience it anymore.oil consumption usually is caused by piston ring failure no?
Then the newer cars should be okay?AFAIK, the oil consumption problem is due to the manufacturing problem with their piston/rings so technically it came defect from the factory. They know, it's a defective engine. The only solution is to OH the engine which my friend had done so it becomes more normal now.Wow, and Audi SC still don't know what is wrong? or is like that......lol
