Conman in USJ

Hi

Just wanna share. Last week my car car jerk when i drive over 120kmh and
stering wheel is out of aligment. Went to this tyre shop recommended by
Exodus in Sunway.

Comments:
1. First thing they put my car in alignment machine and say my car
alignment out.FINE. they say need to cahrge RM45 per tyre..3 tyre is out
of aligment so total RM45 x 3 = RM135. when i ask why so expensive he say
need to replace CHAMBER SCREW!!!

2. Then balancing he say do onwheel + other side adjusting to correct my
car alignemnt and balancing need to charge RM60+ more!!

total is RM195++

WTF i say i don want to proceed conning them i got no money at that time.

Then i back to my trusted source in Kg Subang and they FIX everything
alignment + on wheel balancing for RM30. They even mention to me i DO NOT
need to CHANGE CHAMBER SCREW!!!!!

WTF lucky i dont get con by that IDIOT shop!!!

Wauu...!!! What a nightmare u have come across....!!!! Thank GOD u've not been CON by those ppl...!!!

Anyhow add on camber screw may give an advantage to ur car aligment...!!!
Ur car aligment won't "lari" that much...!!(ask what the pro told me).....!!!
Is a different when i start using camber screw at my car.....!!!!
Besides camber screw u can get it at RM25/piece....!!!(U can use it for a long timez)

As u know MALAYSIA's damn f**king holes are uncountable n unpredictable.....!!! Once u hit it with a "beng" sound - then for sure ur car aligmnet will run like mad...!!! In order for u to save more on this matter why not spending a little bit of moneyz to ensure ur car aligment r alwiz in a good condition...???
Try to get the camber screw if possible...!!(in a proper price)

dude.. what has alignment got to do with camber screws?

camber screws are to adjust the cambers wot... nothing to do wit alignment..... or am i wrong?

i had found out that nowadays, camber bolt are adjustable type. meaning can adjust whether we want + camber or - camber.

RM25 is cheap, and can last for such a long time.

btw, wheel alignment does include adjustment and checking of camber angle, castor angle, toe-in/out, toe-out on turns itther 2 wheels or 4 wheels.

Zephyr3d - U r totally correct....!!! Add on camber it just to help u to ADJUST de camberz n yet it been tested de aligment won't runz that much n fast...!!!
Nowaday there r few types of adjustable camber...!!! It just depends howz de performance ride u want...!!!

I did my suspension that time at Titan, and the guy told me camber screw if want just can tool for me with just RM5 (already untung banyak)....
But of course the suspension itself comes with it so no need extra.

But my experience is a lot of shop will force you to change the CHAMBER screw everytime u do alignment. You can do an experiment one..Go change all the chamber screw in one shop then u goto those conman shop in USJ and see wat they will tell you...they will tell u that u need to change all chamber screw... actaully i am not the pro but i think this is a rip off...

Mine they only adjust the camber and cost to adjust only is RM30. What is adjust and what is changing? Better change than adjust rite if the price is RM30.

if u say the tyre shop in sunway, i got a feeling it is the one with the BIG BIG FALCON signboard rite
cause i went there to do my alignment a few weeks back
bloody pucker, simply say my chamber nuts all out of alignment already
need to re-adjust and it cost RM25 to adjust each side
then i say just adjust the front side lar
and he proceeded with it


then when he tried to adjust the front left tyre, he say cannot adjust cause it isn't a chamber nut and it was a normal nut
so i asked him how does a chamber nut looks like
he has the balls to show me a nut that looks exactly EXACTLY the same as the one i had installed


that was the last straw, i told kau him to stop whatever sh1t he was doing
put back my tyre and i left


god d@mn these idiots please,
after that i went to proton service center in glenmarie
took a while to set a date for alignment apointment
but let me tell u
IT IS WORTH IT
RM 80 and it was definately perfect
flew all the way to 160km and it was still straight and running smoothly
NO CHAMBER NUT TO REPLACE

DUN EVER GO TO THE SHOP IN SUNWAY WITH LOTS OF RIMS AND A SIGNBOARD SAYING FALCON

well i went to Hup shun at sunway .. and buy 4 sport rims .. price is quite okay la .. but then suddenly they tell me my asorber spoil got leaking need to change and rm 185 each ... 2 summore leak ..
then nvm .. i said i later onli change
then they tell me also my car chamber also crooked aledi .. need to adjust rm 40 to ajust back ....
so i said i dint want

got my rims and i go off..
went to my service center .. and ask
noting is wrong
plus my car is 1 year car .. how da fuck my asorber leak

then nvm i go to another workshop where i mod my car
he said no prob also ....

Dammit , actually i had this experience too , if ur in cheras area ( alam jaya near PGA camp ) inside at corner lot got one tyre shop forgot what its name .

I sold my car to one guy , and promised him to do allignment for the car becoz the steering ran to left side abit , and went to that shop , first the guy in the shop tried to drive and after that he said needs allignment , after allignment he said need to change the screw coz the screw isnt adjustable , total is rm195 for 4 tyres , then i said ok la i pay half of it coz i just promised to do allignment , so after replacing the screw for 4 side of tyres then that shop guy drove the car again and claimed that front tyres have worn out because the screw wasnt replaced for a long time , what the fuck ? But the new owner decided to change the tyres la which coz him around rm500 huhuhu . Then after that ok la the car so i thought no problem

After he sent me back , my dad asked me where did i go , den i told him i went to tyre shop , he asked why and i said tyres have worn out . He asked again where is the shop , and got the answer he wanted , he actually telling me the same story - replaced screw , allignment , tyre has to change , den he told me , U HAVE BEEN CONNED SON ! DAMMIT thanked god it wasnt me , den he told me , actually dat replace the screw is just a made up story , he went to his friends tyre shop and was told that the problem only needs one L side piece of metal to support it and the problems gone . He knows dat becoz he went to the shop earlier dis year , after it came to change the screw part he felt that the guy so fishy so decided to go to his friend shop . Kesian la the new owner of my car ... kene conned almost rm700 for the things that cause u ony rm20 . Shit , if a noob or dunno the shop better dun go la , coz allignment ony rm45 and most of shops want make more money . Dammit
