BMW M3 DTM concept sees the light of day w/video

The Bavarian contender for the German Touring Car Championship, better known as the DTM, has been unveiled. Just on first impressions alone, the BMW M3 DTM concept car definitely looks the part and will surely prove to be quite the challenge for rivals Audi and Mercedes-Benz next year.

The carbon fiber-clad beauty was on display at BMW Welt in Munich over the weekend. It will be powered by a restricted V8 mill as required by regulations. Power will be around the 480hp mark with the century sprint dealt with in around three seconds while topping out at just over 300km/h.

i thought DTM only for 4 doors saloon like the C-class and A4? change of regulations again?
nevertheless, impressive car indeed.
