1 of our bro here in ZTH once told me there is 1 unreg V7 but converted to V8 somewhere along Jalan Setapak. white in colour. i didn't see the car since the selling price is rm130++.

good luck bro! do update if u ever find a V7 anywhere. :driver:

The v7 STi is not easy to get. People who own the good ones would almost deifinitely keep the car because as far as JDM is concerned, this is the last STi that would give you that lovely Subaru boxer burble, 280bhp stock.

Good luck bro and I'll keep an eye for you.

cheers

You would be surprised at the advantages and practicality of v8 WRX.
no brembo : no prob can upgrade to even better brakes
no STi seats : no prob at least the front two can get quite easily
no 6 gears : 5 gears with longer ratio is not always that bad especially when it comes to top speed, right?

Also, the suspension is better suited for our roads and highways. How often do we get the chance to attack on corners anyway? lol. Handling can be improved. Even the STi guys spend money to change all kinds of things even though they know it's not really neccesary. These cars are good enough as they are, be it WRX or STi.

..and the best of all. That boxer burble due to single scroll turbo and unequal length header. Almost all the JDM STi guys are jealous of this.

The only thing is, if you're going for crazy power there's a lot of internals you got to change. But then again, even the STi guys would do this.

I so wanted to buy the WRX. But I did not even though there was a brand new one from the local dealer. But that's another story.

Happy hunting bro.

........ But that's another story.
the best posting ever in this thread!:rofl::rofl:

okla... u got me skubv8! will certainly consider WRX after this. come to think of it, true la. u guys in SCM although already driving a STi, always gatal wanna upgrade. 2.2 stroker kit la, suspension la, this n that bushing la, basicly anything u guys can think off la! the best thing is, the WRX owners can always get the STI's stuff from STi users since u guys always wanna upgrade. or just get it from any halfcut! hehehehehe....

hmmmm........

anyway, my nick in SCM is Gilera.

erm.. there's one selling 108k and another fully mod at 130k in Mototrader. Guess its the range nowdays. The setback is car loan interest for foreign cars is upped by 1% already. But in the current economic situation, desperate selling is also likely.

yes the interest rate has been increased, but at the same time most dealers have reduced the car prices. Some by almost 10K.
