Based on what I can find, stock Evo 9 actuator is around 11-12psi which seems a bit low. The other reason to upgrade to stronger one is also ability to hold boost better at higher rpms.

My target max boost probably won't exceed 25psi coz that's what I read the limitation also for the stock BOV before I need to upgrade that one also (which I don't prefer for now). Therefore I am thinking an 18psi actuator might fit the bill, ir maybe just 14psi? Or should I just go with external altogether? I'm actually trying to keep it as simple as possible just to optimise the stock turbo and engine. (Btw engine wise I just bought Greddy 264 cams only).

Where? I saw one but in Penang, then another here but for Subaru coz got the STI logo! Lol. The ones mostly on sale like in N1 are all 60mm.

This one I know, N1 selling for rm800 but this one only works accurately at sea level because it's absolute pressure and not relatively pressure. So if you go up Genting or Cameron, the reading will be wrong.

Profec is boost controller, not gauge. I have already the Profec B spec 2.

he means the later fancy profec, the profec oled, initially i thought you got one of those!, has boost display, graph bars. basically everything one would need/want.

Mahal la, rm1500+. Last time got used ones at rm1100, should have bought it.

Anyway I found already a mechanical Defi 52mm from a Swift Club member nearby my house.
