So far their tyres have been on the cheaper side, like ZE-914...http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Falken/Azenis-FK510.htm
I think if it’s 30% cheaper than PS4 I’ll confirm buy.

I didn't know display cars need new tires. Not like you'll ever drive it.Not just you... I'd buy it too. PS4 is still premium for me. I don't have any good sources for Assy3 too.
You wait. Once it's done I'mma gonna throw rocks are your boat.I didn't know display cars need new tires. Not like you'll ever drive it.
*cabut*
That's insanely exp for the PS3... wow. I pay 460 for the PS4 and I'm already bitching. 350 a piece for the 453 I wouldn't mind at all.Last time when I checked for my front 17' I got the FK453 for only rm350/pc while PS3 was still around rm525/pc. So I'm guessing it should be around 30+% than PS4, maybe just a bit more expensive than the V12E2.
My size of 215/45R17, those days Yoko S-Drive, Toyo T1-R, Dunlop SP9000, GY F1 GS-D3 all around RM380 to 400. later years of Asy and Asy2 around RM430 to 450 while PS3 was around RM550, so they are still the premium priced tyres......lolLast time when I checked for my front 17' I got the FK453 for only rm350/pc while PS3 was still around rm525/pc. The size I was looking for was 225/5017 at that time (almost 2.5yrs ago before PS4 came) so quite a bit more expensive than 225/45/17 or 215/45/17 coz much less common. I ended up buying the CSC5 for rm500/pc instead. My size of 215/45R17, those days Yoko S-Drive, Toyo T1-R, Dunlop SP9000, GY F1 GS-D3 all around RM380 to 400. later years of Asy and Asy2 around RM430 to 450 while PS3 was around RM550, so they are still the premium priced tyres......lol
Nowadays got more options but back then not as many, not yet V12E2 or Fleva and no F1A2/D5 for that size. And I'm not at all interested/convinced with Kumho or Achilles.Your size nowadays many car using already. Kumho PS31 have, Achilles ATR Sports and Sports 2, GT Radial Champiro HPY and their new GTX Pro also have. GTX Pro pattern looks like old Hankook V12 Evo.....lol
Based on Autobild's tests, Fleva rank pretty poorly. Tyre review site got it.Nowadays got more options but back then not as many, not yet V12E2 or Fleva and no F1A2/D5 for that size. And I'm not at all interested/convinced with Kumho or Achilles.
Yes, I'm not interested anymore on the Fleva especially since the V12E2 is more proven AND cheaper too!Based on Autobild's tests, Fleva rank pretty poorly. Tyre review site got it.
Kumho, honestly depending on which one, can perform pretty OK for the price.
Yes it seems for consistency they are not doing that well.Yes, I'm not interested anymore on the Fleva especially since the V12E2 is more proven AND cheaper too!
As for Kumho, it's not just the performance but also the reliability, just not convincing for me coz often heard some bulging or deformation issues etc.
Yokohama already just released the new Advan db overseas though, so that should be their mid-range. Not sure when it will arrive here.NIce, KU39 are UHP tyres.
Yokohama after replacing S-Drive with Fleva is worse....lol
Even the C-Drive 2 now is gone, they don't seems to have a mid tyre category. High category V105 is expensive and performance not in league with PS4, CSC6 and Asy3.
In fact YHI seems to be distributing cheaper range tyres now like Neuton
It depends. For me it's not worth the RM80 savings to drive all the way to Klang for a set of 2 tyres at a cheaper price so I just go to my friendly tyre store outside my house which I've built a rapport with already to get my tyres. But at the same time sometimes when I have a target tyre and want to change all 4, sometimes it's cheaper to drive to Klang and get it done there.Where do you guys go to change your tyres btw? I feel like the prices are all over the place. Havent been able to find a reliable shop that sells at reasonable prices
Yeah I'm the same aswell, couldnt be bothered to drive all the way to Klang to save less than RM100. Haven't found one that's my go to thought. Its hard, as the price differences can sometimes be massive. I paid RM300 for a joyroad tyre before believing it was cheap loool. Currently i've been going to Rabbit Tyres & E.D. Tayar, their prices for Continental & Michelin seem alrightIt depends. The alternative to going to Klang is to bring @vr2turbo and get him to talk to the tyre shop bosses since he seems to know all the big tyre shop bosses!
Yes, E.D. Tayar seems pretty competitive with their pricing. Some other ones maybe are OS Autocare, and Kok Sport Rim (I found that one in Mudah).Yeah I'm the same aswell, couldnt be bothered to drive all the way to Klang to save less than RM100. Actually they have the AE-50 that suppose to replace the C-Drive 2 but that one more for comfort and quiet, which many don't want. C-drive 2 more in between with a bit of performance.Yokohama already just released the new Advan db overseas though, so that should be their mid-range. Not sure when it will arrive here.
No lah! most of my contact are in PJ, some near KlangIt depends. ED tyres have like 4 shops in Shah Alam, Family business. Some more into truck, the one in town central have Continental signboard run by the son. HupShun in Sunway if not mistaken is the Uncle.....lolYes, E.D. Tayar seems pretty competitive with their pricing. So you can have this on your next line up......Btw great news guys, I have gotten a reply from Falken Malaysia that the FK510 is indeed already available in Malaysia!
Yup, this will be high on my list for the next change. Basically if I got budget surely go for PS4, if tight on budget then I either go for that FK510, or V12E2, or S1E2.So you can have this on your next line up......
