Re: Aftermarket HID: they may help you see better but they are blinding the %#$ out o

i only use 4300k hid with projector light and adjusted at correct level on my car... :adore:

but on my small bike...i use it as high-beam unit....

low beam unit just use normal fog light..(custom headlight for my bike)...

funny thing is...since my projector+hid on the bike got yellow-fog lense...couple it with 4300k hid bluish white..it became yellow-greenish light.... :proud:

Don't get mad get even... install some yourself ...Muahahahah

Seriously, HIDs' are for projector type headlights. Non projector should stay far far away from HID.

If for aftermarket HID, we can use a glare shield to minimize glare. But OEM HID for non-projector headlamp it is still okay as Civic FD, Toyota Wish, etc doesn't produce glare. It is all up to the beam alignment in my opinion, pointing the beam to the road not to the tree.

I use 4300k HID...its bright! but does not attract the uniform...very satisfied with it.
i believe if you speak nicely to them, one can even get away with 6000k HID's...

Pomen...anything else from the smaller section? looking for bosch mini H1 or Hella DE series HID projectors..these are mini but made special for HID. the waja projector u have is from the CPS model?

Danz...if the waja projector is from waja CPS then :top::top:

Re: Aftermarket HID: they may help you see better but they are blinding the %#$ out o

arturo....the smallest projektor i have now is actually the smallest in the market if not mistaken...same lense diameter like aftermarket "sunway projector" in mudah.my.......where normally used on bumper....

ok here's the comparison...i believe this google pict. comparing normal projector (same size as waja unit...and smaller one was BOSCH mini...

the size was same as the unit i have...only the casing design on my projector was fully sealed type...

*the chrome one is that projector i mentioned earlier similiar to waja...but i believe it belongs to other import cars...got it from chopshop....and notice the size diff. on the smaller one???

and this one is commonly used on retrofitted cars, factory bike with projector such as naza GTR150 and SACH MadAss125....

the size for those 2unit is between the biggest and smallest in the picture above it....one is originally high beam unit...another one is lower beam unit..but i have remove the beam cut-out shield and literally both of it now was high beam unit... :adore:

p/s:the small projector have beam cut-out shiled built inside it....some type can remove...some cannot....
p/s2:the "waja" projector have adjustable cut-out shield....only can be adjusted before fitting it into the headlamp....if want to adjust after that, have to crack-open the headlamp again...
p/s3:danz...can arrange later....we cruise along since year-end curtain almost to end...a lot of event and job to do in this such short time....tired woooorrr

Re: Aftermarket HID: they may help you see better but they are blinding the %#$ out o

here is the example of good projector fitted....(i use the smallest type for both)

low beam (with beam cut-out shield in place)

high beam (with beam cut-out shield removed)

*notice the differences in beam glare???so...even if install HID no glaring to other traffic...problem setel...owner happy, other road user happy... :adore:

your projector doesn't come with glare shield ah????

then fabricate with steel plate would do the job...secure by 2tonne glue or screw either way oso can....but must measure and cut properly....
