Recently i went for a dyno and tune for my sr20ve neo vvl. Engine internals are all stock, factory rated 204 hp. Mods are exhaust (2inch, no brand), works 70mm throttle body and emange blue piggyback. Results come out as 180 whp, which translate to around 211 hp taking into consideration of 15% power loss to the transmission. Is my engine considered healthy? Running on ron95.

I think it's around 225hp at the crank coz usually transmission loss is around 20% or more especially for old cars. Anyway I think it's a good result.

I know for myvi is 20-23% transmission loss. My friend's myvi extreme 1.5L got 80 whp, spec is 102hp. So thats like 21%. However mine is manual 6 speed, thats why i calculated 15%

Ah i see i see. What car are u driving @6UE5t ?

Anyway here is my dyno. Finally know how to upload a picture lol

I tried two dyno, both dynoject.
One from Mpower, got 160 whp with worn engine after tuned.
After overhaul, when to D4 racing, first run without tuning I got 165 whp. Which means i gain 5 hp after overhauling my engine, which is logical. Finally after tune on the second dyno, the results are 180 whp.
Also a myvi 1.5L got 80 whp, factory rating 102 hp at the D4 racing dynojet.
So i think dynojet is quite accurate at the least.

Why is your AFR so mountainous? Didn't try to smoothen it out?

After dyno is the second bottom line, hovering near 13.2 AFR. I did asked about the small spike in 4.5k rpm, but the tuner said its ok. I think he thinks he has done enough.
What do you think about the spike in 4.5k rpm?

I dunno much about the SR20 to comment. Is this Turbo?

same principal , different terms ?
VVT-i Variable Valve Timing with intelligence. VVTL-i Variable Valve Timing and intelligence with LIFT.
Of course, is like vtec, mivec and so on......BMW is Vanos.......:driver:
