If I change to 205/50/16 my pickup will become heavier?
If 205/50/16 got any tyre recommend?
Due to budget PS3 is abit over budget...got ppl introduce me federal Formosa fd2

---------- Post added 09-28-2015 at 12:06 AM ---------- 6 hour anti-bump limit - Previous post was 09-27-2015 at 11:56 PM ----------

If I change to 205/50/16 still will stable at high speed and some cornering?i am not the spiritual type...just sometimes will have abit cornering or lane changing at high speed

---------- Post added at 12:13 AM ---------- 6 hour anti-bump limit - Previous post was at 12:06 AM ----------

But I quite many times high speed on highway...sometimes go until 180-190...Normaly maintain at 120-150

Icic...got any tyre recommend for me?
Yes, 205/50 will be slightly heavier on pick up but should not be too much because only 1.37% bigger. However it will be more comfortable over 205/45. That is why you have to set your priorities, whether comfort or performance. As mentioned 205/45 will be more towards performance.

No, not Federal Formosa FD2, that is touring tyres quite similar to your ZE-914 or maybe even lower.
For tyres if PS3 is too expensive then Yokohama S-Drive will be out too. They should be in the RM350 region. Only other tyre you can try is Bridgestone RE-003.
Hankook V12 Evo 2 currently have 3 sizes only, so to find out whether they have your size you may have to wait.

I'm using F1-D5 now, and pretty good performance in the dry or wet, but a bit noisy.
Yes, if diameter smaller the speedo reading will be more overstated than your actual speed.

Tyre Size you have to decide, since you are leaning more towards performance looks like you are aiming for 45 series....haha
Yes, for smaller diameter, as mentioned earlier around 2%, therefore if speedo shows 100kph, you are doing 98kph only

Toyo DRB also mid only, higher category for Toyo are T1-R and T1-Sports

Yes, S-Drive being block pattern and directional can become noisy at later stages

Ya...if diameter is smaller that is the only issue I am considor about it...
If diameter bigger I scare pickup heavier...bcoz my car power not very powerful...I have some frens same car as mine they changed to 205/45/17 but the diameter more bigger...

If I stick tov195/50/16 will very hard to find a good tyre...

Got abit intereste about Dunlop direzza Dz102...its noisy level almost same with S drive...got improve from Dz101

---------- Post added at 07:13 PM ---------- 6 hour anti-bump limit - Previous post was at 07:06 PM ----------

Interested on Hankook V12 evo and S1 evo2..
And also s1 noble2 but s1 noble more toward to comfort right?

Nope F1-D5 does not have 195/50/16.
Like I suggested earlier, go for 205/50/16. I don't think you'll notice much difference in pick up or performance but you would notice better comfort compared to 205/45/16, even to 195/50/16. So with 205/50/16 you get more comfort and way better tire choices as well, plus your speedo might be more accurate, therefore more positive points as opposed to the negatives.

Top range tyres like T1-Sports and Yoko V105 smallest size is 205/55R16, which is too big for your car.
Like Conti Sports contact 5 starts in 17", the coming CSC6 start I think 19", Goodyear Asy2 also start 17", Michelin PSS starts 18", some of these tyres my VR also cannot use....hhahahhah

I think F1-D5 is higher than Hankook V2.

VR4 is Galant VR4, it's like the grandpa of Evo, before even Evo I.

Yes, 205/50 is actually quite thin already with 10.25cm of sidewall. IMHO in general sidewall between 10-11.5cm is the best balance between performance and comfort. If drop below 10cm I don't like anymore coz becomes too harsh, while taller than 11.5cm is too thick already, may feel too soft and does not look good too. Of course this is general guideline, which might not be applicable for some tires. For example if you use AD08R, it might feel much harsher/stiffer already even when sidewall is >10cm because the sidewall is pretty stiff due to steel inserts.

Mean V2 concept2 not even entry level of Uhp yet?

I Am ex PS3 user in size 195/55/15 grip for dry and wet super good noisy also good...just will noisy abit on rough road but acceptable....means I at least need use back mid range Uhp tyre right?ps3 considor mid range Uhp ur top range uhp?bcoz I saw still got ps2 and pss above PS3

Now at size 195/50/16 using Falken ze914 grip for wet and dry normal only...but make me feel unsafety...noisy level is noisy than PS3 at normal road and same or even higher noise level than PS3 at rough road bcoz my ze914 just use around 5k mileage only

Soon will upgrade to 205/50/16

If you're used to PS3 then you've got rather high expectations already. F1-D5 might be just slightly lesser than PS3 especially in terms of noise.

Progressiveness means when the tire breaks away or start loosing grip, it will happen in a progressive way, not suddenly break loose/snap. This is an important trait in a tire coz it means it will be easier to handle/correct even when you cross over the grip limit. If I have to choose, I prefer a lower grip tire but with more progressive character than a higher grip one but can suddenly break loose and snap. Of course ideally you'd want very high grip tire that also is progressive over the limit.
