But even more ancient 1.6 litre 4A-GE in light bodies like AE101, AE111, AE92 can somehow challenge these heavy 2.0 and 2.4 litre wor.
Ya, even my 1.8L no match for it. Take Altzza 2.0L 3SGE Beams for example, also can take on many higher cc cars.

So not really no replacement for displacement geh hehe!
"Challenge" = ? Drag race? Top speed? Street driving?

Give me a 3.0 Teana over a Altis anytime. And if you're gonna start talking about turbo like Mr-wise-guy-vr2turbo then I might as well bring in Rotary to the talk.

Anyway, we're digressing, Back to TS topic

in term of reliability, does the accord is the same as camry?
if yes then nomal maintenance is the same cost.
so in general, maintenance is the same.

I think Toyota parts are slightly cheaper than Honda. Well says those who own both T and H before.

nope,it was my friend ride.
so u can keep on guessing abt the secret abt my ride...hahaha

even if the newer engine has the power on paper.
it does not seems to translate on the drive
Probably due to the weight of these newer cars and better sound insulation. Although you are going fast, but it doesn't feel fast. That could be the reason.

I think Teana only got 2.0, 2.5 and 3.5... 3.5 using VQ35DE

Maintenance cost is only one of the thing. Best still is for TS to test drive all three option and see which he prefers to drive. Cheaper maintenance but don't like driving it also a problem....

Honda usually more sporty compared to Toyota isn't it?

camry 2.0 4 gears
camry 2.4 5 gears

if u could afford the roadtax I recommend go for 2.4L.
The FD2 is more handsome inside and out compared to your other cars. You might be better off with the 2.0 FD2. But space loses out to the other cars.

Sort of. If you compare the lower entry level cars (City vs Vios), then Toyota cheaper. But the more expensive range Camry vs Honda, Toyota still wins but that's not saying it's cheap. It's not.

Anyway, speed wise it all depends on the car itself. Some have speed limiters to 180 or more. My own 2.0 can quite easily hit top speed. I'm sure 2.4/2.5 will be equally easy. The larger the displacement, the less effort the car needs to trundle along. But don't expect good FC the bigger the car. A 2L car will have at best 10km/L to 12km/L at most. Expect less for a larger CC car.
thats the best fc even when cruising on highway?
imho:
for 2.0 vs 2.4, the difference in speed is not numerically significant.
what significant is how quick ot can get there.

Yup, 2.0 also can get to that speed but slower to reach it.....
i really thought there are plenty of messages may give me more clearer but hey, thats alot out of topic texts i guess!! lol....

I really wish to own FD2 to be honest. whats make me to consider of Camry / Accord solely:" is there any others car that i can own with the same amount of $ i paying to FD2?".

i think camry is spacious car, since i am going to have another kid soon (2nd kid), space is crucial for me then, i may not give a ride much of people at the same time, at least i may bring parents / old folk with those kids. and of course, talk about comfort, i bet camry is still the best. but think wisely, i may not always do that (bring parents here and there with the kids). only few time in a year.

Bear in mind, i may bring the 2-years-old-soon and a toddle, and wife to everyway. that would be the only a car in the house at the moment. thats why i thought about the maintenance / problematic issue.

My daily routine is send the kid to the baby sitter / kindergarden early in the morning and of course pick her up at late evening, whilst will have my journey to work from setapak to TTDI, vice versa. the route may not cause me stuck in the heavy jam as i would take Jalan Gombak-jalan pahang-damansara height-ttdi. weekend?? erm.. window shopping.. not much to think about as young family here. $ still the essential matter here.

issue that concern me alot is the problematic of FD2, i do not wish to end-up 'feeding' the car in the worskhop more than i do on the road. comparing FD2 to Camry in term of spacious just like comparing Kancil to MYVI. despite not to that greater. whereas problematic, i hardly hear people are complaining about the Camry than FD2, perhaps bros out there may give me more information.

Think about 'what will i do the most', "my daily routine" will be the ans which will led me into choosing FD2, FC will be much better than Camry, i guess.*based on my daily routine (correct me if i am wrong) Spacious?? erm.. i do not travel to Penang that much but occasionally.

DAMN!!!! i am still in dilemma! :bawling::bawling::bawling:

8th gen Honda Accord should be cheaper to maintain since there's the Accordana, right?

Since you're in the same situation as me - you need to get a bigger car. The FD2 isn't big enough in the back. Get the Camry la. Close shop.

But spend a LOT of money security, don't skimp on the GSM tracker, immobilizer, etc. You need those to protect the car.

If comfort first priority then it will be the Camry. Camry and Accord will have Managerial executive status/looks. I still say test drive the cars and see which you prefer. Buying a car you don't like to drive will be horrid.....:burnout:

I think your priority wise, I think Camry suits u more. Unless u like some hardcore driving. FD2 vs Camry, I would take Camry 2.4L if u can afford it then 2.4L better. If 2.0L vs 2.0L then it depends on what you want to have in your car. Some hardcore driving then FD2 2.0L.

If not then just take 2.0L Camry as family car. Leisure and comfortable ride.

Go for camry 2.4L la. No need to think. Unless FD2R hehe!

Yup, provided not thinking of the road tax. If thinking of the road tax, then 2.0 only.....
2.0 - RM380, 2.4 - RM780, that is why my rides all limit at 2.0 and below....:biggrin::biggrin:

Nowadays a lot of C200 company use on sale. Especially the older model since the newer one coming soon. From what I heard from sales girl, I asked last 2 months, CLA200 if want to book have to wait 1 year for the car. No test drive but sold so many units without even needing to test drive.

These ppl buy car like buying house, not yet see or test drive. Paid. :stoned:

Previous versions of the Pagani Zonda have been beautiful machines, with their hand-crafted interior and intricately-designed exterior. Matched with powerful engines, they are the perfect blend of comfort and performance. A pratical road-going, easy-to-drive supercar, you might say.

However, some customers might find the Zonda a bit too civilised. It may lap the Nürburgring in 7:32 but for some, it's...
