Guys, I have a friend who has started an IT Training Center not long ago is now opening up his services to public sector. He usually trains corporate clients (customized trainings - network, applications, etc). Now he has shifted to PJ area and is opening the trainings to all.

His courses includes

1> Computing Courses
  • Basic Computing - Introduction to world of Computing and PCs (understanding the fundamentals of PC and components)
  • Intermediate Computing - Further from basic, this is to enable the students to understand better on PC's in terms of the troubleshooting skills, how to build his / her own PC, understanding basic fundamentals of networking - LAN/WAN, Network Domains, etc
  • Advanced Computing - Layers of Network Security (Firewall, Routers, etc), Industrial Model Practise, etc.
2> Microsoft Office Courses - B/I/A
  • MS Word
  • MS Excel
  • MS PowerPoint
3> Web Design Essentials and Website building - B/I/A
  • HTML basics
  • How to use Web tools
  • etc.
4> Lotus Notes & Collaboration
5> MS Visio
6> Other customized training - to raise efficiency in work place, he'll actually pay a visit to yer office, evaluate, analyze the situation, customized a program for yer work place / employees in an attempt to raise the level of ICT for better productivity and efficiency.

niz: i suggest u call up darren ... if u take it up with fred.. i think can get better price ... it all depends on how much u wanna know... eventhough they have a fix syllabus... they will meet up with u to see which level u are.. then they'll customize it..
